I say give it a borderworld series fitting name like Cinquedea, and maybe a german "nickname"

But before we decide the final name, we should make clear where and who this ship belongs to and who created and/or flys it.

Oh, a BW ship? Most consider that line as Outcast, what a shame, because the U series would most definitely fit freelancers. As for the name... How about Baselard? Katzbalger? Or even Yatagan? xD

Now seriously, I'd pick Baselard. Sounds most English of the three.

The model looks great there, man. Looks darn great.

I was under the impression that it was going to the Bundschuh myself, but always remember that Borderworlds ISN'T Outcast. It's not.


Personally, I'd say stick with Flamberge, just because I love making flange jokes. It would invite humorous nicknames! C'mon, Flamberge!

After many replies, I still think Flamberge sounds the best. But as was pointed out, it depends on its background - a Bundschuh design should use a germanic name, whereas if it's more generic and they are just big fans of it, something more general.

I'd like to remind you all once again:

1) There is no way the Bundschuh actually make this ship. If it is a Bundschuh ship, they designed it or helped design it, and someone else builds it.

2) The Bundschuh are not Outcast toadies.


Before naming goes down, this needs to be determined:

Who actually builds the thing? Red Hessians, IMG, or Zoners?

THEN we can rant about names.
