Chateau Salins Station -- 733 AGS -- The Second Gallic War has made conducting business hazardous all around the Gallic Border Worlds. New threats are not directly related to the military conflict between Gallia and the Council. Instead, the war gave rise to unprecedented increase of piracy in all Border Worlds, except for Lorraine. Criminal activity is on the rise even in the well-protected Core Systems. Using the war and chaos associated with it, Gallic Brigands, Corse and other groups gained access to new ships and weaponry, and gained opportunities to increase their numbers by rallying recruits from Council-controlled worlds of Marne and Quillan.
As a result, most financial institutions refuse insurance for any shipments going to and from the Core Worlds. Even if they do, insurance is so expensive that only a few shippers are able to afford it. As of now, the only efficient way to protect cargo is hiring Gallic Navy escort. Presence of Navy fighters usually scares pirates away, however, the Navy has many other duties to perform.
Increasing public displeasure with the Gallic Royal Navy after its defeats by The Council has discouraged the government from increasing the rate of conscription into the ranks of the Navy . Instead, the Gallic Royal Admiralty has begun issuing Letters of Marque and Reprisal against Council, Maquis, and criminal groups within the Gallic Border Systems. Letters of Marque and Reprisal are available to any captain of a combat capable vessel whose reputation is in good standing with the Gallic authorities. Combat actions against enemies of Gallia by Letter holders will be deemed legitimate and legal actions so long as they are performed in good faith to enhance the Crown's security.

The said Letter Bearer having given Bond, with sufficient Sureties, that Nothing be done by the said Letter Bearer or any of his Officers, Marines or Company thereof contrary to or inconsistent with the Usage and Customs of Gallia, and that he shall not exceed or transgress the Powers and Authorities contained in this Commission, And We will and require all our Officers whatsoever in the Service of the Gallic Royal Navy to give Succour and Assistance to the said Letter Bearer in the Premises. This Commission shall continue in Force until the Crown shall issue Orders to the contrary.

All loyal citizens of Gallia desiring to arm himself with a Letter of Marque and Reprisal against The Council and the criminal elements who support it's treasonous activities may apply in this channel, where an adjutant will review your credentials and issue your Letter, adding you to the roster of such duly authorized and equipped Loyalists.

My name is Tim Lafortune. I was born in 710 on Planet Quillan. My family and I were highly against the Conseil's motives: La Gaule lived by itself for now over 700 hundred years, without the help of any outsiders apart the Junkers, who provided us useful technologies and were/are actually benefic to the Glorious Gallic Nation.
My father died when I was aged 3, my mother was captured by Le Maquis during one of their too common civilian attacks. Orphan, I had nowhere to go, so I had to start living by myself. I had several jobs before: I worked as an escort for Iles-De-France shipping inside New-Paris. When for security reasons, New-Paris was declared closed to everyone that without authorizations for security measures, I used all my economies to get me a decent crew, and a fine vessel: a Gallic Gunboat that I named ''L'Alpha''.
I wish to defend La Gaule from the plague that are Le Conseil (Council), Le Maquis, Les Brigands, L'Union Corse and, of Course, the Outsiders. They bring nothing but war, corruption, death, and anarchy.
Before the Conseil created all this propaganda about Le Roi (The King),
La Gaule was a peaceful territory, with little to no crime rate (especially since the measures against the Police's shady actions).
I wish to see La Gaule as peaceful as it was before these conflicts; I am ready to die for these beliefs, and for le Roi as well.
Rebel forces were spotted near Planet Orville in close proximity to Dijon Station. Comm. officer gave a warning to the criminals to vacate the premises in lieu of being engaged. Rebel forces gave out the coordinates to other rebels in the area.
Six rebel fighters/bombers engaged Latouche-Treville in front of Dijon. Vastly outnumbered the ship took heavy damage and I gave the order to evacuate. Escape pods were taken into Dijon Station. I lost 100 men in the battle.
Unfortunately I also lost my chief security officer. Due to the loss, I will need some time to regroup and retrain.
We are growing thin in numbers and the Rebel forces are only increasing in theirs. We need to reunite and take back what is ours.

My name is Camil Sauvage, I was born and raised on Planet Nevers, Burgundy system. My family have been serving the King of Galia for generations now.
My mother was killed when I was young by one of Maquis terroristic acts. My father told me that many lives were lost that day amongst my mothers and how he never really got over her tragic death.
i was raised well by my father. There were times when I barely ever saw him and most of the time my Moms sister Maria would take care of me.
Back than Dad was a fighter pilot for the King`s aces squadron.
As soon as i was 16 years old I enrolled in military academy located at Avallon station. I have completed my training as a Heavy Fighter Pilot and began serving the King. Since than I have been serving Galia, often not coming back home for several days at a time. For my outstanding and excellent record as a fighter pilot I was granted a promotion and now I command a Royal Navy Cruiser called RNS-Vengeance.
Me and the crew of my ship will defend Galia at all costs from all the evil that still inhabits our King`s space.
Myself and the crew of my ship hereby state our intent to gain your letter of marque and we swear to protect the King and the lives of all good citizens. My guns and my crew are at Crown`s disposal.
