Today was a good day for the legion.
Executive Commander Atheus, Pilot First Class Antares, Star Captain Mahnke, Star Captain Morton and myself went on a routine trip to the New York system.
It was rather quiet for the most part, so we decided to help lift the curtain of lies before the eyes of the citizens of Liberty, and we did so with a bit of success.
It seems that these days not everyone is a blind follower of the corrupt government, so we did manage to actually get some positive responses from the public. As usual however, the negative ones made up the bigger part.
While spreading the truth and informing the free men and women of Liberty of our cause, we ended up encountering a rather special officer of the Navy, going by the name "Clarence Harper".
It didn't take long for us to intercept him, and we were surprised to see the man stand his ground instead of running away.
Only few would have shown this bravery in such a situation, and we offered the man an honorable duel with one of us.
Harper picked Star Captain Morton, and the fight was entertaining to watch, to say the least.
After a few minutes of combat, Star Captain Morton finished off Harper's ship with a well placed Sunslayer torpedo, after which Harper ejected and had his pod take him home safe.
Afterwards we set course for the next checkpoint and were lucky to encounter an unescorted Liberty Assault Battlecruiser, the "LNS Quimby".
It didn't take long for the fight to start, and the gunnery crews of the Quimby did all they could to shoot our ships down, but to no avail.
It all ended with a huge explosion as the final antimatter charge buried itself in the ships reactor core.
Having suffered no damage worth mentioning, we went on with our patrol.
It was just as we had finished it and began to refuel at the Rogue Destroyer stationed near the West Point - California tradelane that we were greeted by another hostile IFF signature.
It was the Navy Dreadnought Arizona.
Its captain had been engaged in a "conversation" with us for the last few minutes before that, so we decided to do the diplomatic thing and pay the ship a friendly visit.
We encountered the Arizona at the California jumpgate and, once more, it didn't take long for the fight to start.
Oddly enough, a friendly mercenary of a group called "Overwatch Incorporated" offered us his assistance, and not willing to pass the chance of reducing another symbol of the Navy's military might to rubble, I accepted the offer.
We took on the Arizona and pounded it with all we had for several minutes.
A... I think it was a trader, well, the man going by the name of "Icharus Trask" opened fire on the Dreadnought aswell, which returned the favor.
Trask's Transport only lasted mere seconds, and I'm still amazed by the bravery of this man who, knowing he had no chance, came to our aid against that beast.
It shows that our earlier words were not for naught, and that we are getting more sympathizers to our cause every day.
Anyway, babble aside, it was a tough fight, and Star Captain Morton got caught by a full salvo of the Arizona's guns during a dive. I tractored his pod in and we continued to pound on the ship's hull.
After some more minutes it began to look like the Arizona's crew had lost hope in victory.
The gunnery crews weren't aiming as accurately, some turrets even ceased firing, so the ship was disabled without any further trouble.
At this point the mercenary arrived - a bit too late, but I decided to reward him for his effort and good will nevertheless.
All in all, a good trip.
Oh, and we also managed to pick up a flight recorder of the Arizona which got blown out during the fight.
Most of the data is fried, but here's a shot for your viewing pleasure.
On a further note, we did have a brief talk with the mercenary afterwards.
It appears that the "Overwatch Incorporated" mercenaries want to maintain good relations with our side of the law.
I think we might find them useful in the futre. Afterall, they weren't afraid of choosing a side, unlike most other mercenaries we've encountered so far.
What else... oh right. For fulfilling his duties on a daily basis flawlessly and displaying an exceptional amount of bravery in combat time and time again, I would like to recomment Pilot First Class Antares for a promotion to the rank of Lieutenant.
That is all. Star Captain Morton mentioned earlier he might do a follow-up report later today.
Callahan, over and out.
Hello again people, it's Callahan.
It is with great pride that, after several hours of discussion, I can bring you a good message.
The actions of Mr. Ray Barnes, better known under his callsign "Antares", have been reviewed by Lord Commander Aethelu this evening, and I have the honor of giving out the promotion.
*clears throat*
Pilot First Class Ray Barnes, I hereby promote you to the rank of Lieutenant in the Hellfire Legion.
With your actions you have shown more than enough that not only are you a capable soldier,
but also a man for whom things like honor and loyalty are not just mere words, but rather virtues to uphold from day to day.
I see a bright future ahead for you in the legion, and I am sure you will stick to the good path you are treading on now.
Be aware however, that with this promotion not only do your priviledges grow, for your responsibilities do so aswell.
Now, before we go back to the harshness of everyday life, I invite you all to celebrate Lieutenant Barnes' raise up the ladder.
The festivities will start on 10.00PM SMT on America Base, observation deck C-4.
Everybody not scheduled for patrol duty is invited. As for the others, we will arrange that you get your share of the "good stuff" when you're back.

Today I've found 2 navy ships at West Point. They tried to order me to leave. Finially a High ranked officer arrived who wanted to take my head, but he couldn't. We started our fight and finally my Antimatter Cannon hit his ship. After him another Navy officer tried to kill me, but he couldn't nor. Finally a Gunship arrived who had missile turrets...at the end I won, but I had to escape because I couldn't fight with anymore officers.

Ahhh, it's good to get out. A joint raid with the Lane Hackers into Liberty gave us a good test of the new ship line. There were six of us in all - myself, Blue Dove, Adrian Morton, Phate, Ernst Stavro Blofeld and Seraffimo Spang.
Moving through California wsas uneventful, and we quicky move on to New York. However it was similarly deserted of Navy or LSF pilots. Blue Dove them told us of a Battle Cruiser known to be in the Texas system, so we split our group, the Hackers staying in New York, while we proceeded into Texas to hunt for the ship. Reports suggested it was moving towards Rheinland space, so we tried to intercept, but it was always a step or two ahead. By the time we reached the Hamburg gate in Bering, the ship had already entered Rheinland. So we decided to wait for it to return. As it re-entered Bering, we moved to intercept, but it was able to steal the march on us and docked with the trade lane before we could disable it. We chased, calling in the aid of the Hackers we'd left in New York.
We finally got within range of the ship at Houston. It moved up close to the Mississippi, but we still took it on, while avoiding the withering fire from the battleship. Eventually he ran for Houston, making an emergency dock on the Planet. We quickly moved away from the Mississippi, and headed back for New York. The commander of the battlecruiser even tried to ridicule our skills over open comm channels, when he was the one that had run to save his sorry skin! These navy fools never cease to make me laugh, with their misplaced self-importance.
New York proved a more fitting hunting ground. The LNS Nebraska was located on the edges of the Detroit debris field, and engaged by our forces. He was soon reinforced by the arrival of two LSF pilots - Krusa Corraine and Tiberius - and the Navy pilot Galen Anderson. They were no match for us though, despite putting up a good fight, and all fell, without any losses for us. My gun-cams seem to have failed, but I was able to obtain the following image from Seraffimo Spang, showing the moment the Nebraska was taken out by Blue Dove.
With Liberty cleared of its' navy scourge for yet another day, we returned, victorious, to Vespucchi, and drinks on Blue Dove!

I'm currently getting the IFF of my Sabre sorted... since it's my only ship, I'm not going to be able for active duty for a few days. For all the techies the Hackers have, you'd think this would go faster...

It was a great day. Me and Wainwright were working on getting our Guard IFFs when we heard a pair of Keepers. Immediately launching to intercept, we chased them all the way to New York where the pair split up inside the Badlands. We followed one and after flying much below the plane he stopped about 30k below Manhattan and we engaged. In a short fight, we cleared him out with limited problems.
About to head home, we heard people talking about the other Nomad being near Manhattan. Wanting to tie things up and not expecting the LN to be competent enough to put it down, we went and engaged in the Detroit Debris Field. The Nomad quickly took down an incompetent Navy bomber before it succumbed to Wainwright's guns.
Then we engaged the LN. One of their bombers was also easily dispatched, leaving simply Jack Malrone and some LPI Masket. Then, Krusa came. His Upholder was unarmored, but he managed to land a supernova on Wainwright.
I then engaged in a fierce fight. While I appeared to have the upper hand, against my calculations we both dropped mines on the same pass. One would've killed him and dented my Sabre, but two? We both exploded in a rather spectacular fashion.

Greetings Command.
The OGS Korelev was going towards Mactan, when i've heard that the Legion has an intruder in Vespucci. The Target was an IMG "Hydra" class Gunboat.Shortly after, the Korelev proceeded to Vespucci. There,we chased the intruder towards Monterrey, where he docked.Patience brings it's fruits, and we received ours. The Gunboat shortly undocked, and began to cruise around Vespucci. After a short time,it jumped to Magellan, where it was obliterated by our Battle Razors.
The Korelev was appointed to repairs, and is awaiting further instructions from myself. The crew went to rest, and so will I,once i send in this report.
That is all for today.
Initiate Jim McKinsey, captain of the Korelev, signing out.

Been tinkering with my IFF for a few days, and getting into loads of trouble. Most recent was an LSF bomber outside of Houston that engaged me. He was incompetent and under-armored, the usual dregs you expect the LSF to push forward. He must've ran into 5 or so of my mines as he sat still shooting. Was funny to watch, because despite the fact that I had a Dreadnought and two Cruisers shooting at me, I lost my shields once when one of my mines hit us both.
Good news is that after talking with the Zoners on Freeport 2, I should be getting my Guard status flashing soon.
