Can't see the names (planets, ships, NPC, commodities)

Hello mates. Since I installed the new beta, I have some kind of graphics problems... Very very annoying. Let' me show you :

When i want to connect, i have that, look at "Situation":

Then in game, it's still the same probleme, no names, all disappear...

The NPC don't have name anymore :

The commodities too :

The bases (and planets) too... :

And it still the same dirty thing with the map (no names on bases) or with the differents factions (it is something like IDS? instead of Corsairs for example)...


I already desinstaled the game and the mod many times, but it's always the same... In the previous beta, all was fine so I guess it's a problem with the new beta... I hope you can help me guys. Thanks you !

Did you try to reinstall Freelancer....



Try reinstalling it this should help.

I run on vista and Everything works fine for me....

This happened to me, EXTREMELY annoying, what i di was i got a new computer (i was getting one anyway). But it was a very old computer and had win 98 and a processor under par for freelancer. It belongs to my brother now, to this day, we havent fixed it. Im sorry i cant be of help.

And you are wrong mate. I use it. I already uninstal both game and mod 2-3 times, the problem stay...:(

Either way, it has nothing to do with the server, or the mod. All your end unfortunately, as no one else has
had the problem.

I think you're missing something called Discovery.dll, but I'll be able to find out what you're missing when you send me that file, and should be able to help you fix it.
