"Get the full swat team out to sugarland at once, and a bunch of techies, we're gonna move our new acquisition, asap!"
It became apparently that the LPI needs to train its engineers and technicians a bit better... it took ages for them to figure out how to even turn on the destroyer... but it eventually roared to life and slowly made its way to the Illinois impound yard, where it was put under heavy guard.
Iâll carry this flag
To the grave if I must
Because itâs flag that I love
And a flag that I trust

Joined up with J.D. and some others for a patrol, and got a message from the Chief about two pirates, Jolly_Roger and Jason_Cryborn. We located them near Rochester, and I wasted no time getting rid of Jolly. He's on a slow fright to Sugarland now.
Missed getting Jason...the blighter kept hiding on Rochester. Rochester refused to surrender the man, so I and =LSF= agent MickeyD fired a few torpedoes into the base.
Later, was sitting over Newark when that triple-blasted AI MD-1032 showed up. It attempted to scan my bomber, and I took exception to that. Hopefully I managed to eliminate it before it could upload the specs.

Officer Joseph Truman, reporting in.
My second patrol in a long time was mildly more exciting than my first. After launching from Fort Bush and stretching the wings of my Liberator, I came across an Outcast Destroyer, running amok outside Fort Bush, blowing up Cruisers and the like. I rescued a Captain (and later returned him to Manhatten). Without back up, in my Liberator, I was unable to do anything much watch and try to save as many civilians as I could. Thankfully the Destroyer soon took off, hopefully leaving Manhatten space.
Not before he left though, an Outcast Falcata class bomber showed up between Manhatten and West Point by the name of Cerulean Gryphon. He wasn't causing trouble, just trying to stir me up. He seemed to take offense to me calling him a child, and charged to attack. I met him in combat some distance above Manhatten. I've fought many bombers in my time, but none so cowardly as this one. His load out consisted of a Paralyzer, a Sidewinder, a Mini Razor and two Imp. Debbilitators. My ship took heavy damage from the missiles, but I knew once he ran out the fight would be mine. This pilot, you see, could not aim his guns to save his life. I prolonged the fight, and made full use of my Counter Measures and Cruise Disruptors to minimise the damage to my ship.
With no shield or nano bots left, and little over half my hull, I was forced to dodge the final ten or so sidewinders without taking a scratch. Which, of course, I succeeded in doing. Stuck without missiles this rookie was a lamb to the slaughter, I proceeded to slowly whittle away his hull with what must have been an imminent, embarassing death.
To no surprise to me, the Gryphons' brother arrived on the scene, and traded the Outcast a fresh supply of missiles and nanobots. Cowardly act, he challenged me to a duel and this is what happens. Outcasts may be low down, cowardly and dishonourable, but the Gryphon clan is by far the worst I've met.
I managed to tractor in a single nano bot from a near by wreck, and cleared the Bounty hunter gunship standing by to engage.
It was a long and greuling fight, but we came out on top. My Liberator struck the final blow to the one known as Azure Gryphon (although, I was too busy fighting to stay alive to bother with the gun cam at this point) The Gunship was heavily damaged, but the remaining Falcata was out of nanobots. He seemed determined to finish me off, not that I would let him have the satisfaction of course. The coward eventually turned tail and ran.
In total he spent nearly 140 Paralyzers and Sidewinders, with nothing to show for it but a beat up ship. Now apparently the entire Gryphon clan will be hunting me. Three to four bombers? Been there... beaten that. I just hope the rest of the clan have the skill to use their weapons accurately, instead of relying on guided projectiles to shoot for them.
Sorry for the long rant (but it could have been longer!) But I thought because of my abscense, it must be due. Glad to be back and schooling these Rogues and Outcasts in the ways of combat.

Possible items of interrest:
VIP - Rheinland ship flew through Liberty (New York) area and spoke Rheinlanish. I order him to stop but he was just way to far ahead and he was out of the system before I could get close.
Nodachi - Merc GB, siting outside of Manhatten until I arrived and asked why he was there he said looking for something to do???? Then he moved on, out of the system.
Jarek_70 - Junkers but taged Lane Hacker, lied to me saying he was working on fixing his tag, then a {admin]fellowhoodlum came on and the hacker moved out, then I got a report that a lane hacker is attacking at Fort Bush. When I arrived Jarek_70 was attacking Geneus (Trader). I order Jarek_70 to halt his attacks and he opened fire on me. We fought but I was out classed by a BW VHF and I was in my Libertian LF. I was desten for greatness and glory, but not today I got my butt kicked.... Sorry I didn't hold the honer of the LPI up to the highest level. Once my life pod returned me to Manhatten, I requested [admin] to look into the iff and tag issue on Jarek_70. Just a heads up, Jarek_70 ins't in Liberty space right now, and has a verible warning to fix his tag ASAP. If you see the low life KOS. for attacking LPI and having 16 LPI life pods in his hull.
Interresting moring, I need Sunbucks badly after this stuff. Anyone want to join me I will be at the coffee bar until I passout or go back on patrol.
Me and SWAT member J.Masket took me on patrol. We covered all of the lanes in the New York system, and I covered the Detroit lane myself. On the route to the Texas jumpgate, we spotted a trader, someone who was going to break the blockade and bring some super-conductors into Rheinland space. With the help of an LSF agent, ID still is rambling in my head and I cant remember what the name was, J.Masket might remember; and Masket forced him back to Norfolk shipyard where he said he was going to go to Lancaster Trade Center in Bretonia. This concludes anything that me and Masket did together on this patrol.
used a new trick, get up close behind them at cruise, and then while their going in a straight line, hit engine kill, fire off a razor and SNAC, the razor just before the snac, and it will kill them before they know whats happening. (razor takes out shields, snac hull)
