Then why are they complaining?

It's already 10 seconds ffs... do me a favor and slap yourself.

It's already less efficient than mortars against other caps, and you want to nerf it's efficiency even more?
Any bomber or fighter that stays at >1k range will not get hit by these things, unless the capship player is cheating, or the bomber doesnt know where his strafe buttons are. Yes, you're going to have a hard time hitting a kusari destroyer at 1k range, deal with it, that's the only destroyer in the game with that small a size right now. Trying to kick everyone in the nuts over one ship is not a good way of balancing things, as we've seen with the BHG gunship.

They must have made a fatal error, and thats exactly what fatal means.
Just because you got killed by a cap doesnt mean it needs to be nerfed.
However, if razors can snipe bombers on a longer distance then yes that needs to be fixed by either increasing energy requirements or increasing refire delay. Because realistically capships would not be able to target and instakill small craft like this. Fighters would be able to keep out of their range and avoid their inaccurate fire, while bombers would do the same except with the ability to actually hurt the capship back. That's the theory anyways.
well yes, if they snipe at 1050m + then thats a problem, but if your sad because you got instakilled 500m away from a cap then your best off to be quiet (talking in general)

The only cap thats going to be doing any 'sniping' with the weapon is the battleship, due to 1600m/s speed on the bs razor.
Cruiser razors are 800m/s speed, half of what a battleship razor has. If you're at 1k distance away, you have more than a full second to dodge every razor shot at you, more than a second of time is going to pass between the capship pilot aiming at the little reticle, and the projectile actually getting to the target.
If you're sitting still, you will get destroyed. If you're dodging like you should be, this isnt an issue.
Lastly, if the developers expect cruisers to sit at 3-4k range and 'snipe' battleships with light mortars that have like 300m/s speed, then it should not be difficult for you to do the same from 1-2k.

Actually that was the calmer rational me. Noone on this server has seen my angry side yet. And you better hope it stays that way.

It's not just your retardedly large Order carrier that is on the balance stake here however. There is also for example the KNF dessie which is 1/5 the size of the carrier. To shoot that one with a supernova you need to come really close with a bomber, so if someone mounts full razors and infernos on that one he can turn it into a bomber instakilling, capship terrifying, swiss army knife. In that case the cruiser razor needs some sort of a nerf because it is a generally used weapon after all. I guess it is going to go under testing by the dev team before any sort of changes will be made.
