The notification shook, not of its own accord, but rather vicariously through the hand in which it was held.
Then the door opened, and the paperwork came in.
Then more.
Yet more again.
A cemetery of trees, a mausoleum of free time, an effigy to his failure to navigate the bureaucracy of the LPI in a manner that would result in little work for maximum pay... If only he could find his lighter.
But he did find a bottle, and so Sean Toronto, now deputy despite his best efforts, drank and drank and drank.
Report Filed By: Officer G. Lakewood
Date: April 05
Subject: Patrol report
Two incidents to report today.
1) Xeno pilot sighted at West Point academy holding Liberty Navy pilots prisoner. Pursued into the debris filed surrounding planet Pittsburg. Disrupted cruise and engaged.
2) In the middle of the engagement, I was hailed by the Liberty Navy for an outside assist. A transport, Black Soul, was apparently attacking civilian vessels. The Liberty Navy Gunboat Brookstone and I destroyed said transport.
I was flying around from Manhattan to Pittsburg when I saw a Corsair bomber near Fort Bush, his call sign: "gonpost", i told him to stop his ship, he did not comply, therefore i followed him up the Fort Bush to Norfolk Shipyard trade lane, i told him to stop, he still did not comply, i followed him up to the restricted area and then retreated back to Norfolk as i am not permitted to enter that area.

Today i have encountered a Outcast bomber, callsign: Scarlett Nova, fighting an LSF agent, i was told not to engage, i therefore saw the fight, the LSF agent was not doing very well, he was taken down in a matter of minutes, the Outcast fled the scene, but 5 minutes later i heard over the Liberty Lawful comms that she had been taken down.

WE DONE IT BOYS! The SWAT team brought down that fiendish, dastardly criminal Mon'Star! T'was a fierce fight, with much yelling, but we took him to the cleaners! Oh my, but I still cannau catch ma breath, and I think my blood pressure is such as I should be dead right now, but we did it! WOO!
PAY RAISES ALL AROUND!
OK, maybe not pay raises, but you might get a paycheck this week.
PS - Oliver Shaw is promoted to regular officer, and he's talked to me about joining the SWAT team, so he's in that too.

Today was a horrible day. I started out in Illonois and Started heading to New York to start my patrol and to my horror I found a large outcast BattleShip guarding the New York Jump gate. I could do nothing but wait as there were no Navy nor LPI Bombers on at the time. I could only call up my good partner Amy McTavish and wait there hoping someone would come on. As both only being new recruits we are only flying around in little Patriot Hand-me-downs... So we could do nothing. Not long later he began chasing us and we managed to flee to Manhatten in new york to keep our lives or we could have ended up like swiss cheese.

Today was a relatively good day. First of all I did a lap around new york and came across my partner Amy McTavish and We joined up than headed to California and helped with a rogue pirater carrying about 5000 Slaves. Refusing to drop them we were forced to engage and after a long battle we won. Than we had to locate a transporter to transport the slaves to Cali Minor. (As none of our own ships were big enough). As LPI and LN seemed to have everything under control I headed back to Manhatten.
