So you want what? Ship that can kill two figters with mini, or two bombers alone and still is too small to be destroyed by other gunboats? And dont forget that it has lot to do with skills. And loadout too.
Its really painful to fight bh gs in bomber whrn it has two missile turrets...
Once again people judge a ship only by the statistics it displays in game and their own short comings. Statistics do not incorporate turning speed, strafing power, size of the model etc. which are all equally important in the balance of a ship.
I suspect the fault lies not with the ship, but the person piloting it.
a BHG GS would be silly to equip 2 missile turrets. cause :
- firing one missile = 200.000 energy
- BHG GS total energy = 400.000
so - yes, in theory it CAN fire two missiles - but only when its shields isn t regenerating ( 10 energy / sec ) and no weapon was fired
other t han that - yes.... the BHG GS is not too easy to take down, and as i have said, the GB weapons are a bit on the weak side for the purpose they re build for - the BHG GS itself t hough is OK
if everyone ( BHG and all the BHG enemies ) agree that its too weak though... i ll simply spin the 2 turrets that i locked rearwards to forward again ... a matter of seconds haha.

Its huge from the sides, and its even quite easy to kill even with anti fighter loadout on a bigger gunboat. I did that with my Cor. GB.
I dont say its -really- bad, it just fails in what its intended to do.
Two missile turrets? CD, CM, dodge, dont joust. Easy. It has low powerplant to spam them effectively.

Oh, yeah, the BHG Gunship.
I had a 'bounty' up for reports from players on how that ship performed in combat.
I've also flown the gunship in combat. In the last one I was involved in, there were TWO bounty hunter gunships against 3 corsair bombers and 1 fighter. The bombers cleaned our clocks - the only reason one of them died was back-splash from his Nova launch.
So - yeah, spin the back turrets to the front, so that all 6 face forward again. Or spin ONE of them forward, so there's 5 facing forward.
Ok,then i amrequesting a sn pod for corsair gb,beause it is huge and slow.i think it is in the same line a requesting more power for one of the smalles and most agile gb.
And i was able to kill titan with cd and bomber with my corsair gb.and i am sure that they were not newbie pilots.again,it is lot about skills... Ship is good as it is.

That was with me, and we did get totalled rather quickly. However, considering that all the bombers had two Nova torps as their load, and were spamming them on every pass, it's no wonder we got blown to hell!
Personally I don't think it needs the extra firepower of 5 or 6 forward turrets myself. I like it as it is. The only problem is when fighting in a furball, the GS is always targetted first by everyone, and goes boom rather quickly. But that's one of the dangers of flying the ship. Keep it as it is.
