All I can say is W-O-W. Today, it was one epic battle after another. It was so intense that I didn't get that many screenshots.
My Eagle VHF just rolled off the assembly line, shiny and new, when I decided to take it for a stroll down the ol' trade lanes of New York. It wasn't long before I ran into a Hacker by the name of Blood Dagger. He gave Maggard and I the slip, but it wouldn't be long until we ran into him again, and under more threatening circumstances.
As it turned out, Blood Dagger ended up becoming just one ship among a huge outcast force stationed outside Manhattan. LPI forces joined with LN and LSF, along with some indies, Bounty Hunters and possibly others to ward off the incoming attack.
After a few tense moments, and I cannot describe just how tense the moments were, we got ourselves organized, planned the attack and waited. Soon, Blood Dagger showed himself about 3K above Manhattan. We feared he was trying to divide us, or at least divert our attention from the real threat. So, in our wisdom, we sent only a couple ships to dispatch the Hacker.
Not long after, another Pirate, a Rogue by the name of Youngblood, played a game of cat and mouse with us. Unfortunately for him, we caught the mouse. I was starting to feel confident that the Outcast force was splintering and getting progressively weaker. My confidence strengthened when we discovered that they had divided themselves up among the jumpgates. Divide and conquer, baby. They did it for us. Now all we had to do was conquer. This we did in not too long of time between Planet Manhattan and Fort Bush, I believe.
I have a few pics of the forces gathering to fight in this battle, as well as the heroism of new recruit Ron Davis. After the battle, we picked off some stragglers, most of whom denied all involvement of the skirmish. I wonder if they would have been as 'uninvolved' if we were losing the battle. Lame, lame, lame.
Anyways, we claimed a 2 million cred fine from a Hacker name Saronsen Logic Bomb. A good talker, but coughed up the fine when surrounded by superior force. I didn't get pics of the later fight with the Keepers. Hopefully, someone will include this in a report if they haven't already.
Here are the pics:
As I stated before, if anyone has any other pics of this battle, or of the battle with the Keepers that occured not long after, please post it. I would enjoy reviewing it for the purpose of improving tactics and analyzing enemy deployment.
I ran the lanes in New York, usual. But then I got something. I caught a ship, the exact, and I mean EXACT, spelling is "Saint.Michael" (that includes the quotation marks), was smuggling Gate/Lane parts illegally and he was breaking the embargo. He resisted arrest, lied to an officer, and now me and a Sergeant, the coffee makes me forget things, suspect that he pilots a stolen Camara class freighter and he is smuggling goods illegally, both over the Rheinland-Liberty border and he isn't authorized
A young girl walks into the front reception of the LPI Office at Fort Bush. Carrying a small backpack she slowly walks up the female behind the front desk, taking in the large reception area. The receptionist looks up from her monitor, with a shocked expression after seeing the girl standing in front of the desk.
“What? Am I a Ghost or something?” the young girl says with a smile.
“Umm, I ..Chief ….Umm, Urg…Can I help you?” The receptionist says with a stutter.
“Ahh,Yeah right …..Do you know a guy called Myers?” the girl says getting more serious.
With a scared tone the receptionist mutters, “I … You .? Through the door over there and please don’t tell Chief I messed up”.
The young girl puts here backpack back on here back and walks through the door the shaken up receptionist pointed at.

Well, today was interesting.
I came on duty to find a Hacker Gunship being chased by some Xeeners away from Manhatten, so I left him for the Xeeners. I did a quick patrol of New York to find the Hacker and Xeeners shootin' at each other. I called in some bombers to come and help finish him off. Just as we were about to attack, he killed the last Xeener. We then decided to fine him and escort him out of Liberty. I sent Masket and Beckon to escort him out.
Soon, we got word of an imminent Keeper attack on New York, with about 7-10 ships. We rallied every fighting ship we could find to come to Norfolk. About one minute later, scanners detected them in New York. We got them to scanners near Norfolk, but they then dissappeared. We sent out search parties for them, but to no avail. We then got a distress call from the LNS-Colorado, he was under attack by the Keepers at the NY-NY hole. We rushed to the area, but the cruiser exploded from the sheer power of the Keepers.
We engaged them as soon as we were in range. Our first fighter down was by friendly fire, a torpedo I believe. The second down was by the Keeper's Gunboat. We then got our first kill, their Gunboat. After fierce fighting, we were losing ships fast, whereas they had only lost about 3 ships. Eventually, my ship succumbed to their firepower, and I had to eject.
Sitting in my pod, I was able to watch the battle and listen to comm chatter. Some Xeeners contacted me over private comms, saying they wanted the codes to our lawful comms group, so they could help us fight the nomads. I reluctantly agreed and sent them to the fight. I was soon picked up so I didn't see the rest of the battle.
I heard we lost though...
Signed,
Captain Jack Bauer

[10:10:28 AM] Josh (Dejavu): Bauer is legendary to the LPI, I joined because I wanted to be that epic.
Yesterday was truly another amazing showing of the Liberty armed forces ability to quickly organize its ships and defend out homeland. I can see that officer Justice has covered pretty much all of the successfully repelled Outcast assault on Manhattan, so I will just add some of my activities before and after the attack.
I went on my relatively new Roc bomber and joined with Sgt Maggard for some embargo enforcing. Everything was going pretty well - we turned away some traders. A quiet morning it was...until I ran into a hackergunship camping the NY > Houston lane. After refusing to leave, he threatend to destroy my ship, unless I pay him. I warned him that threatening and extorting a police officer is a crime punishable by death and we engaged him (sgt Aidan has already arrived on the scene). The hacker put up a good fight but fell after a few consecutive direct hits from our Supernova cannons. His punishment was performed by blowing up his escape pod.
After we moved to NY to do some patroling, we bumped into a smuggler carrying a load of cardi. He managed to land on Manhattan but not before video evidence the cardi he had. Upon undocking he was halted and charged. He tried to escuse himself by telling us he did not know that cardamine was illegal and crap like that. After he was given the ultimatum - pay the fine or be arrested he paid and was released.
This was the last event worth mentioning before the outcast fleet attacked.
After the assault was over and we began our sweap of NY in search for any fled or somehow survived hostiles I saw a navy vessel stopping a transport vessel, I stopped by to check out what is the situation. Turned out the transport was hauling nearly 5000 units of counterfit software. He also tried to get out of the situation by clearly lying to us. He claimed he did not know that this software was illegal. After some threats he dropped his cargo but refused to pay the fine. Seconds later his ship was put out of commission by sgt Maggard and the pilot was detained for prosecution.

Greetings Boss,
I would like to apply to join the SWAT team. I am sick of being unable to provide adequate assistance to my fellow officers when engaging heavy resistance.

The Chief is snoozing when a knock on the door precedes a young girl with a backpack slung over her shoulder. She looks around the office at numerous LPI officers diving for cover, huddling in corners and crying, and one who actually stands completely still and turns invisible. She looks around and shouts "WHICH ONE OF YOU IS MYERS?!" All the hands point at the snoozing fat man in his office. She jumps on his lap and slaps his face til he wakes up, then, staring him straight in the eyes and inch from his face, says "Hi daddy!"
"DADDEH!" the girl shouts with a sad cry,"Wake Up! ......Why isn't anyone helping him!".
A shadow reaches out of HR and tries to grab Matt Myers leg. The chief then with a jump wakes up and starts incoherently shouting at the HR door with the Shadow hand yelping as it retreats back into its dark room.
"Daddy you ok" says still with concern in her voice,
With more incoherent shouting realizes he screwed up some time in the past and now he has a daughter.
"YOAH! PROMOTED!" Matt says not thinking straight seeing her as another Officer.
"You're hiring me? Ohh Yay! thank you daddy" says and hugs Matt, then goes off to look for somewhere to put her stuff.
Matt realizes what he had just done and starts screaming incoherently again then falls asleep.
