Was quite chaotic when I appeared on duty today when I was confronted with three pirates who had the nerve to cut my tradelane down between Manhatten and West Point. Then, they had even more nerve as to ask me to pay a $1million fee. Me! Although outnumbered, these scum needed to be taught proper manners. I quickly turned on LR-Something-or-Another and managed to eat a fair way into his hull. Knowing he was no match for me, I then engaged the bomber who was also engaging me at the time. By this time, backup in the form of Sergeant Aiden Maggard. He managed to be good for attracting all the mines; keeping them off me. Eventually we downed the bomber.
More hostile contacts appeared on the scope; a missile-happy Sabre and a fairly skilled {SOB}. I suspected a Junker in the area was supplying the enemies with shield batteries and nanobots, so I shooed him away quick-smart. The Sabre wasn't too hard to down: Missiles can also work against the ship that deploys them.
The {SOB} was a little harder and my ship decided to shut the power core down and sent me on a collision course to Manhatten. Good thing I ejected prior to entering the atmosphere.

Hopefully I'll have more backup when I'm on duty tomorrow,
After being accepted into the ranks of the Liberty Navy privately by Admiral Talon at the rank of Ensign, I requisitioned the relevant resources from production facilities across Liberty. Now, I'm flying a Guardian with the correct ID papers and almost complete armament. However, as is often the case, troublemakers would simply not wait, so they had to be dealt with.
First up on the list was a man in a Camara freighter, with the designation "Johny_Piko". Hauling diamonds from the border into Liberty, I quickly turned the man around. It seemed though, as if he were completely unaware of the current embargo and escalating hostilities between us and the Rheinlanders. Despite this though, he quickly turned his vessel around and exitted into Hudson.
Next was, curiously, and IND vessel with the designation "[IND]Fundraiser". Hauling a load of high temperature alloys from Rheinland is certainly something that a group such as the IND should know not to do. However, the pilot of the vessel was adamant that his cargo was in fact from Kusari, and that he had taken the longer way around to get to Liberty, avoiding Colorado, citing that system's dangerous nature. Having no proof of his claims, nor evidence against them, I chose to escort him out of Liberty into the Bering system.
I would suggest that the Interspace Neuralnet Department be watched more closely and warned about the possible repercussions that such actions could have in the future. More instances of behaviour such as this, and there will certainly be a problem. I would like to submit this case for review by the admiralty, with the evidence listed above.
Lastly, while on patrol, I was tipped off by a good citizen (who's name shall remain confidential unless ordered otherwise) about a possible counterfeit software smuggler. I was given accurate directions as to the possible destination of the smuggler, and I successfully intercepted the transport. The vessel was confirmed as a Behemoth, yet another of Rheinland make and model. The suspected illegal cargo was also confirmed.
The vessel proceeded to lead me on a chase through dead space, aimlessly going nowhere. In exchange for leaving her alone, she dropped the entirity of her cargo and I confirmed its destruction. I suggest that the LPI bring in the pilot of this vessel in the near future, as counterfeit software can be very dangerous, especially since it's apparent destination was Rheinland.
At this point, I would say that there is certainly not enough presence from the Liberty Police Inc. in the Texas system. I'm trained to deal with actual military threats, so enforcing the embargo should be secondary. There was also a hacker operating in the Texas system at the time, whom I could not apprehend due to Evelin's need to lead me into the middle of nowhere.
The last days have being quiet, just a few "valuable" encounters.
Two days ago, I was at Texas enforcing the Embargo. From the Bering gate a Pirate Train jumped in, the ship's callsign is FairTrade, not only he was breaking our laws about the trading between Liberty and Rheinland, he was carrying 4300 units of cardamine. When I inquired him, he did what they all do, run.
My TCDs failed to disrupt him, but I chased him across the whole system, and being near to beaumont, I warned him, the junkers won't help him, and sadly, I was wrong, they allowed him to dock there (This is not the last nasty thing that junkers have done to us). I had a chat with Crown's Nest, a junker, I explained to him the situation, and I demanded him to expell FairTrade from thier bases, the last thing junkers need is to have us knocking on their doors, at the end, he agreed with me. But, there were no trail of FairTrade.
Yesterday, Lt. Commander Malrone, called me to the trade lane between Manha and West Point. He was engaged by SOB Borracho. Him and officer Maggard were fighting him, the Lt. Commander got a shot in his thruster, and was forced to retire. Me and Maggard keeped firing on Borracho. When we were close to got him out, he got reloads from a junker vessel which was passing through, unfourtanely, I can't recall his name, but I will be able to identify him, if appears again. But, even with that little breath of new air, Borracho was forced to retreat.
Today, patroling aroud New York, in my way to Texas to enforce the Embargo as usual. A lane hacker disrupted me headed to West Point. He seemed to be new at the job, and his light fighter didn't do much neither.
At Texas, we had a busy day. Several Embargo breakers showed up, first at all, [NBT]_Express. This pilot tried to fool me, he narrated a nice tale, he said, a "friend" bought those Engine Components for him, in Rheinland, and that he never entered Rheinland, so it was not against the Embargo. Don't need to mention he didn't convince me with that, and making deaf ears to his complaints to me, I forced him to fly back to "Barring" (that's how he called it).
The second law breaker was Black_Gold, flying an advanced train, jumping to texas from Hudson, carrying High-temperature alloys. He didn't know about the Embargo, so the officer Marlow (flying the Upholder) and myself, explained it to him. He understood, and then turned back to Hudson, and we didn't have more news about him.
Third and last, it was another smuggler coming from Bering (I don't know why a smugglers is using the gate that leads from Rheinland), a Junker Salvage Frigate callsign SiriusStar, carrying 3330 dosis of cardamine. I chased him, disrupted him, but an untimely mini-ion storm helped him to cruise away again.
Today in California, we found several hostiles between bombers, fighters and a gunboat. Fourtanely a combined forces between the LPI, LSF and LN, put out of functioning those hostiles. The only one who survived was the Hacker gunship called Rommie. He fleed to Magellan, thanks to the [LN]-LNS-Indiana. I took care of one of them, who tried to kill me from the back.
A while after that, myself under the orders of our Vice Admiral MacTavish, and the VA in person sent a couple of rogues and hackers beyond bars. It was a coupleo of bombers and 1 fighter.
Then a small group of keepers, came to NY, looking for troubles, and that's what they got. One of them got destroyed, and the other one was focused fighting against one of our vessels and he will be a smal late
Today, the Nevada got loaded up and made its way through the Nomad-infested space to systems designated Omicron Delta and Kappa. Research scientist, Dr Elizabeth Carter, was in charge of pointing us towards the specimens and keeping the scientists from drooling over the exciting new organisms they were finding.
Once we made it to Omicron Delta through CLASSIFIED, we moved to three checkpoints in the system, provided to us by previous intel of the system. All three points proved extremely useful; I could tell because Carter's eye's had a slight sparkle to them each time the probe returned with samples. Large samples of unusual asteroids and alike were carefully brought into the Fighter wings. Apparently the minerals within the asteroid were radioactive and spewing out moo's or muon's or something. Anyway, they proved to be valuable for Carter's research into tachyon field-generation...or something to that effect.
Next system was designated "Omicron Kappa" and operatives who retrieved the intel advised extreme caution; as Corsairs didn't like visitors into the system. We took the risk and ended up hitting the "jackpot of muon-research". Malrone's words, not mine. Both Carter and Malrone were clambering to me about how we needed to tractor in as much of the asteroids in the system as possible. I just stared at them with a blank expression and stated "Yes" to all their demands. They busily went away cutting up rocks and swirling test tubes full of stuff they assured me was safe...
After some time in the system, they'd researched themselves out and it was time to go back to Liberty and fully analyse the data. That's where we hit the snag. Seems some Corsairs had picked up our energy signature and were on an intercept course. The fact we were hauling asteroids emitting muons, which Malrone tells me makes us "stick out like an Outcast on a Hunter base". Again, Malrone's words, not mine. We attempted evasive maneuvers and tried to communicate to them we didn't mean them any harm. Of course they didn't really care and continued to gain on our position. We were now racing back to the Delta jumphole, Malrone carefully dodging every asteroid in the system with excellent precision. The small Corsair squadron, consisting of one gunboat and three bombers was about to get a large re-enforcement...
Out of the blue, an Order Aquilion-class Carrier was on our ass. Luckily the Corsairs weren't quite smart enough to disrupt our cruise engines and we made it to CLASSIFIED without any hull damage. There, a Navy fleet lay in wait to fend off the Corsairs and Order. They retreated back to whence they came and we docked at CLASSIFIED to analyse the cargo.
Overall, the mission was a success. However, if such a research mission were to be carried out in the future, the fighter bays in the Nevada would have to be filled with fighters to fend off any Corsairs or Order that endangered the ship.
Jerran Mantor from the 128 squadron and me were patroling New York, and we found some hackers who were attacking traders. We got help from the LNS-Brookstone, and with his well aimed missiles, all the bandits went down. After that, Richard Knight and me fought against a couple of xenos close to Manhattan, but the fight was interrupted by a keepers invasion in Texas. I don't have camshots, as I lost it in a previous fight, but there were at least 4-6 keepers. And we got lots of reinforcements, most of them by the LSF, and a couple of xenos joined us. We have some losts, but at the end of the fight, the keepers fleed, the xenos started to shoot at us, and some hackers came. At that point, I retreated to the Mississippi to repair my ship.
The Ensigns Richard Knight and Kentaurus Toliman, and me, patroled around New York. Was a quiet day, most of the time, but we found a hacker called Saronsen-"Lobotomizer", I fought him alone, he was carrying a dual Cball and Firestalker, that and his mine field, wasted all my TCDs, and when I was close to destroy it, he ran.
First, we have a little encounter against a Outcast gunship, callsign Ace's Plunder, Lt. Gafwmn, General Kaitlyn, the officer Jack Bauer and me destroyed it, after chased him.
After that, I went to Texas to watch the bering gate from goods coming from Rheinland, I got help from the officer Jack Bauer. We got some traders coming from it, but there was no need to fire on them, fourtanely.
When I was on my way back to New York, a Liberty Bomber, callsign Eva, joined my wing, and together we destroyed a Rogue called Medea, who was attacking a trader at the New York gate.
When, we got to New York, close to West Point, 2 hackers were heading to Manhattan, one of them flying a Pirate Train full of cardi, the name of that one is Saronsen-"Concussion". While we were engaged by Steven Copeland, the Pirate Train ran out of the scanners. Copeland focused his shots on Eva, and destroyed it, while we were fighting another bomber joined us, some pilot named Sean, but the Bayonet was too quick for that one too, and both bombers went down.
I was alone against both of them, and I was dodging the fire from the pirate train, and Copeland was getting shot, but suddenly 3 more hackers (I didn't get chance to scan them, at least two were hackers, and may be a merc) joined them, their names: Dravis, Avair, Roy_Awesome.
I was surronded by 5 vessels shotting at me, I started evasive tactics, to get away from the Pirate Train, and draging the fighters with me get more chances to win, but the Pirate Train keeped coming after me.
The first one who got destroyed was Avair, after him was Dravis. Suddenly, Copeland ran out of missiles and disengaged me, and Saronsen and Roy_Awesome fleed too (both of the fighters with several damage). It was not a coincidence, but some LPI-SWATs were on the way to help me. When we got back to West Point, Roy_Awesome was trying to get to the lane to California, we disrupted him and finished the job.
But, that was not the last fight, a Harvester unit was orbiting Manhattan, the LPI went after him, in a long pursuit. They stopped him, around the Colorado gate, 30k above the plane. They had it undercontrol, but one of the LPI got destroyed, the pilot ejected and someone picked him up. Vice Admiral MacTavish, Lt. Commande Malrone, and me went to assist, and together we eliminated it. I took the last shot, but most of the job was done by the LPI-SWAT team, and our great shooter, the Vice Admiral MacTavish.
I was flying to dock at the Missouri, when we got some weird communications from Saronsen-"Concussion", the Pirate Train was back, and laughing, he didn't expect to find the LPI-SWAT team, and to Lt.Cmdr. Malrone in his Upholder. They quickly found him, and as he refused to cooperate, they took it down.
With all those lucky enough to have Kappa clearance or higher, there is a new Liberty Navy project under way. Its progress can be monitored via this channel. Discussion of the project is available on this channel.
The Nevada shall be a ghost on your sensors; do not attempt to contact, unless its a Class 2 emergency.
Some randomer named AI.Bundy is wandering around Liberty, has a Freelancer transponder signal and is ID'd as a pirate but keeps calling himself a terrorist...
Anyway, he get's three of his mates and they gang up on a Navyman. Be careful out their people, they don't know the meaning of fair play.
Also, 3 of them are in bombers, so taking a gunboat or cruiser in there would be a waste of Navy resources.
We had a nomad infection in New York yesterday, people got madness due to three keepers. When I was looking for them, the LNS-Greystone appeared to found them, don't know where, but I heard it in the radio. Unfourtanely, the LNS-Greystone got destroyed by the jellyfishs. I met, Lt. Commander Malrone at Norfolk, we scanned the system for a shor time, because the Keepers where between Norfolk and Fort Bush. By the moment I got there, Malrone was already fighting them, Mark Harmon joined us, but the nomads took him down. We managed to destroy one of the jellys, but the nomad bomber there took us down. http://i183.photobucket.com/albums/x46/ale...ero/keepers.jpg
A navy patrol took me back to Norfolk, and I'm waiting for a new vessel.
