Patrol today started like all other. At least untill I got to the California Jumpgate, where I ran into 3 Council ships. Since Liberty has diplomatic and economical conections with the Council, I welcomed them and asked about their reasons of visit. They were looking for Admiral Hale, but since he was not available, I escorted them to Manhattan, so they could take a look around while waiting. We had a little discussion about differences and similarities of Liberty and Gallia and I've allowed them to land on Manhattan to get something to eat and drink.
While I was trying to look after our guests, my communications system caught a strange signal:
Multiple ships conformed that Keepers have been spotted in New York. I've went to investigate and hooked up with the LNS-Pacific and an Order pilot, Jeremy Hunter. Since we had a bigger problem, I've insisted to help the Order pilot against the Keeper vessel.
The hostile entity was destroyed by LNS-Pacific, even though I asked the captain to hold fire many times. Well, I guess some people just can't follow orders ...
Later on, we've got informed about multiple pirates in California. I've asked the Pacific and thee LNS-Sutherland to assist. They also got some help, so we moved to California. Upon our way there, we've met an outcast bomber, which fled right after we asked him to leave. (Probably because the company I had with me.)
When arriving to California, we found 5 pirate ships and a mercenary working for them, however most of them fled when we were spotted. I've left the LNS to deal with the remaining ships and returned to Ft. Bush to refuel and rearm.

Today it all started when I took my SWAT fighter out after having received a distress call from Navy officers. I joined multiple Navy officers and LSF agents and we engaged multiple hostiles near West Point.
The most notables of them where Celadon.Gryphon, The.Joker, Azure.Gryphon and many others.
I fought for a lots of time, the two LSF agents got shot down and we achieved to shot down many of the Tangos.
For me it all ended when a Navy Assault Battlecruiser fired too missiles at a Gunship I was engaging, sending me instantaneously into my escape pod.
I was tractored by the captain of the said LABC and he dropped me on Planet Manhattan where I can fill my report and wait for a new ship.
Also, I would like to ask, since I am an officer in the LPI since a while and all the stuff, I would like to be considered for a promotion to sergeant.
Well... I think that is all, I am now going to bed, hoping I get a new ship delivered for tomorrow.

San Quentin; Chief Matt Myers
Responded to a distress call from a Naval gunboat, found some Hacker Gunship and assorted fiends duking it out with lawful forces included the incompetently-commanded "Cmdr.Jack.French". After it became clear that the cruiser was hopeless against the gunship, its shields having yet to be breached by the cruiser's gunners, I ordered helms to full and weapons locked. The gunship and party quickly scattered, and in a chase into the nearby debris field the gunship surrendered, only to detonate itself to prevent us from gaining any information from it.
Sadly the pirates escaped in the ensuing confusion.

Onboard the LPI-Quantico
The newest LPI gunboat was taken out for its maiden voyage where we joined Captain Bauer in the San Quinten. After coming across the rouge gunboat Heat.of.Gold, Captain Bauer engaged while we waited as backup. After a failure in the San Quintens weapons aiming systems, computer systems, evasive thruster systems and frankly, the whole ships controls, Captain Bauer found himself in his ejection pods, with the Heart.of.Gold having only taken a small scratch.
With an untrained crew as the only thing stopping the gunboat from escaping, we fired up the pulses and engaged. Luck (or good aim) must have been on our side as after a long, difficult fight, we were victorious.
With the Quantico neeeding a new paint job, we collected Captain Bauers pod and returned to drydock to celebrate and get <strike>plastered</strike> some rest.

Busy day today. We got a report of a navy gunboat captured by xenos in Colorado, so we went looking for it. Firstly though, we found a lane hacker bomber and VHF at Pueblo. They didn't want to leave, and tried to take me down. They finally learned their lesson after I drained all their nanobots and shield batteries.
Next, I was joined by Sergeant Jenson and we found the xenos. Note: Reccomend Jenson for more weapons training, by his own admission, the broad side of a barn is safe with him around. The gunboat wasnt there, only a bomber and VHF. They also didn't want to surrender and engaged us. Big mistake. The bomber was first to go, followed after a time by the VHF.
Just after this, Azure.Gryphon showed up, and after refusing to leave, Jenson and I attacked him. Jenson fell quickly after errors with his evasive thrusters, leaving me to face the bomber. Unfortunatley, a rogue barghest came to help Azure and from then on, I thought I would be in trouble. While I was forced to eject, the barghest came with me after my pulses shattered his shield right after he fired a nova torpedo at me.
We are currently in drydock, waiting for the final repairs on the Quantico to be completed.
