Julia enters the bar and bumps into Jerry Shaw, she sees his name tag and after flying with him around liberty on more than one occasion she smiled at him.
"In a hurry officer? Please let me buy you a drink, we have probably flown together... I am Julia Wolfe"
She holds her hand out, expecting him to shake it..........
Julia looks at the bartender from afar and nods to him, he poors a glass of Liberty Rum....
Jerry, a little surprised by the sight of an LSF agent in Sunbucks, shakes Julia's hand and adds
"Hello Julia, Indeed we have met eachother in space on more than one occasion... Its a pleasure to meet you in person - I was just on my way to the hangar bay... but It can wait. I gladly accept your offer for the drinks but dont be foolish - they are on me."
They sat down at the bar and Jerry noticed most of the officers were looking at him and Julia... he ignored them and turned his attention to Wolfe.
"So miss Wolfe... what brings you to our fine establishment? And dont tell me its the food"
He takes a sip from his drink and curiously awaites her anwser...
"You are right it isn't for the food, I am here to meet "someone"... Cant tell you more than that I'm afraid, don't take it personally"
She gave Jerry a long look and hoped he would understand, Julia is in the Department of Home Security but there are "other" parts to the job than aiding the Navy and Police.
"Why are people watching me? They never seen an LSF Agent before" Julia burst into laughter...
"Hehe, dont take us for just a bunch of street cops who know only the 'streets' and the bad guys. You may be surprised by how much some of us know about... 'things'. " - He said with a faint smile on his face and drank the remaining ale in his glass.
"Now - I'll leave you to your meeting with this 'someone' but feel free to order anything you want while waiting - its on my tab. - I will not let a lovely LSF agent such as yourself buy her own drinks on 'my terf' "
After having said that Jerry shook Julia's hand, said to the bartender "Everything she orders is on me.", took his gear and left Sunbucks, got into his Shelby GT500 and headed for the hangar bay.
Officer Jenson enter the bar for the first time and immediatly saw that on one side their were a lot of his workmates. He went on that side and sat near a table.
He then yelled impolitely to the cashier that he wanted a coffee and a donut. The cashier came immediatly with his order and following to Sunbuck policy, didn't asked him a single credit.
While eating he started to talk with the deputy about when he was going to be promoted to which the deputy answered: When you will more flight experience. The conversation continued with numerous remarks from Jenson about the fact that the Patriot is a piece of junk.
After he finished eating, Jenson left all his garbages on the table before going out of the bar to go sleeping.
Hmmm, why canadians are the only to have a sig image.
Officer Jefferson just entered sunbucks for the first time, with a really confused look on his face... It was 5am in the morning, he hadn't got any sleep yet, and had a weird day behind him.
He stepped up to the cashier and said; "How about some coffe and a donut?" to which the cashier responded "sure", he didn't even ask for any money, Jefferson just scratched his head, and sat down at a lonely table in a corner that looked like it never saw a visit from the janitor, with the spiderwebs and all, and reflected on his day.
He took a sip from his coffe and his mind wandered off.....
Jerry walked into Sunbucks with a face clearly indicating high frustration and anger. It was around the time his shift starts.
"Give me 2 glasses of Smirnoff vodka and a Heineken beer. NOW!" His tone surprised the bartender as he has never seen him in such mood.
"Wow... you look like you've went through hell even before your day started" *pours him the drinks* "Here you go... I wont tell the chief you had a few dinks before yer shift, mate.. you have my word".
Jerry looked at him with a freezing look and said
"No need for that. Im not going to work today so just shut up and keep pouring those delightful drinks of yours."
Jerry sat there for about 2 hours and then left. He didnt talk to anyone as he usually does. Didnt even say goodbye when he left. He just stood up and headed for the exit
