Your application has been passed to me from the HR department.
I would like to invite you to an interview with myself and the head of the ExSec department, Miss Kiriko Hidamari on Scarborough Station at 16:00 Newcastle Time on 04.06.819
I see you have applied to join the Shipping Combine, but you experience would suggest that you would be more suited to ExSec department, do you think you could handle the larger transports? We will of course discuss this further at our meeting.
If your application is successful you will then be go through orientation and familiarisation with our shipping fleet; all pilots having ratings on Clydesdale, Percheron, Shires and Shetland Transports. Since Bretonia is in a state of war, most pilots are also trained on Griffin, Eagle, Roc and Havoc ships for Escort/Defence duties where required. We also have some 'specialist wings'; pilots chosen from the ranks to fly in the Angry Badger Squadron and Clydesdale Brigade, but they only take the best, so you have to work hard to join them.
If you could bring your birth-certificate and National Insurance details with you, this will help process you application further, if you are successful at the interview.
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
I was a freelancing bounty hunter but I quit due to the amount of violence there was, I needed more peace and quiet. For the last few years I have been flying trains and transports as a freelancer and I´m currently flying a Series "DL" Border Worlds Transport.
- To what division are you applying?
Shipping, I was always amazed by large machinery as a young lad, and grew up with my uncle on his transport.
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
As a freelancer, I feel as if I could serve Bretonia better by joining Bowex. Also, It would be safer for me.
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
Depending on the odds of the battle, I´d definately help. While my ship may not be the best for fighting puposes, I feel as if my old fighting skills are still there somewhere. If the odds are against me, I´d turn around contact the authorites.
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?
I tell him to go back to where he came from and continue along my route. I´d rather keep my pride and not fall to his level by trashtalking.
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers?
They make excellent punchingbags.
Backstory:
I was born on planet Leeds, although I travelled around with my uncle quite a bit. Once when I came home from a trading trip I found my parents murdered and my uncle took me in. I travelled with him for a few years before I became focused on revenging my parents and set off on my own. I spent my prime years chasing down criminals as a freelancing bountyhunter in hope of finding my parents killers. As I grew older, I realized that I was wasting my life and quit. For the last few years I´ve been travelling around, freelancing with my transport ship. Lately I felt as if I could do more for the kingdom, and am now applying for the Bowex shipping division.
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
The last (and so far only) place I worked at was the Hometown Express, a small shipping company stationed on planet Cambridge, and mostly did shipping only within Bretonia (mainly to Leeds and New London). Due to ships being paid for by employees, I've gotten to keep my B-40-E Percheron, and I know her in and out. With Hometown Express I've been part of some combat, but mostly I've been able to talk my way out of it. We often flew in convoys, most ships doing the same route together for safety.
- To what division are you applying?
The shipping department, as that's what I've had previous experience with.
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
Border Worlds Exports have by far the most impressive trading net within Bretonia, and I believe that working here would help strengthen our nation further. Of course, your highly beneficial company perks and good salaries are also a factor.
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
I have little sympathy for pirates, and I know what I can take on in a firefight. If I have a chance of aiding in defeating the pirates, then I will engage to help a fellow Bretonian. However, if this means risking my cargo and life unnecessarily, then I'd rather pass by or turn around and alert authorities; in my experience, it's rare that pirates actually shoot down the trader.
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?
Yell at him over the comms that he should go back to his ghastly excuse of an empire, because he has no business Bretonia or where it operates.
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers?
They're in my opinion the very definition of biblical Hell and should be feared as such, but conquering one's fears is an essential part of being human. In short, I'd shoot, shiv, or shatter them in any way possible when presented with the opportunity.

- What is your full name?
Captain John Scurvy
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
I used to be a pirate following in my dad's footsteps but after losing my right leg I figured I should settle down
- To what division are you applying?
Applying for the shipping department, as I thought you guys could use a man with experience.
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
I'm born and raised inside of Bretonian borders and have always been interested in your company in one or another way.
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
I try to stay away from them not giving away my location i then contact nearby Bowex employees telling them to keep away from the attacked zone i then leave taking an alternative route not in endangering the cargo.
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?
I would try to call for backup but if I would be of my shift then I would make them "fear" me
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers?
They are pretty decent target practice.
Good day to you Hans Arthur Liljefors, Mr O'Farrell and Captain John Scurvy
Your applications has been passed to me from the HR department.
Hans, you have an interesting name; doesn't sound like Bretonian, you have parentage in Rheinland?
Mr O'Farrell, I see you have applied to join the Shipping Combine, but you experience would suggest that you would be more suited to ExSec department, do you think you could handle the larger transports? We will of course discuss this further at our meeting.
'Captain' Scurvy, you past will require further investigation by the BPA, but I like to think people should be given second chances and since we are at war, we could probably use a pilot with your experience in the ExSec division.
Anyway, I would like to invite you all to an interview on Scarborough Station, in the Newcastle System.
Hans, I see from your application that you are already licensed to fly the Percheron, so you should breeze through our orientation program.
You may be interested to know we also have some 'specialist wings'; pilots chosen from the ranks to fly in the Angry Badger Squadron and Clydesdale Brigade, but they only take the best, so you have to work hard to join them.
If you could bring your birth-certificate and National Insurance details with you, this will help process you application further, if you are successful at the interview.
- Where was your last place of employment? What experience do you have?
Worked as a mechanic in a shipyard for the last few years. I have experience flying fighters of diffrent kinds as I tested them to see if they worked.
- To what division are you applying?
Ex/Sec, My life is too slow at the moment. Im wasting my prime years in a shipyard!
- Why are you interested in working for Border World Exports?
As I said, I need more action in my life, and also I have heard from friends that the Bretonian corporations pay well to their employees.
- You happen across a Gateway convoy that is under attack by Red Hessians. What do you do and why?
While neutral with Hessians, they are attacking fellow Bretonians and we need to make an example of them as such behaviour can´t be tolerated. If I feel like I´m in over my head, I call for back-up.
- You encounter a corporate trader of Gallic origin. It croaks mockingly at you. What do you do and why?
I load my guns and shoot a warning-shot just besides his ship. I tell him to go back to his own "empire".
- How do you feel about Glaswegian badgers?
No man should have to withstand the horror that is Glasweigan badgers.
Backstory:
After graduating from school, I tried to become a law-enforcer, but they declined me because of my so-called 'anger problems'. They didn´t trust me around the big cannons. At the moment I´m on pills which keeps me calm(er) and prevents any random outbreaks. I still get angry quite easily though.
Your application has been passed to me from the HR department.
I must say I'm very impressed with your application and I would like to invite you to an interview on Scarborough Station, in the Newcastle System.
One thing that concerns me a little is the medication you're on for your 'Anger Problems', of course this will be discussed during your medical with our Company Doctor, please bring the medication with you for him to examine.
You will of course also have to go through a simulated combat test and an orientation and familiarisation test flight on one of our ExSec ships depending on your experience etc. it would be one of the following:
Griffin, Eagle, Kingfisher, Roc or Havoc
If you could bring your birth-certificate and National Insurance details with you, this will help process you application further, if you are successful at the interview.
[color=#33FF33]Hello, my name is Brian D. Rowser. This is my number one pick for my first job. Never been contracted by any major groups yet. I'm willing to escort your convoys. Its close to home anyway. I hope you consider what I have to say.
I wish to work for Bowex because my mother has had diabetes ever sense I can remember. She recently went into kidney failor. I'm her only hope, I have to make the money for her procedure and give her one of mine. The Doc says it might come out at a total of 300million credits. Even after the procedure I will continue to work though. We need the cash. And my mother won't be working for a while. If only dad hadn't died....
If I came across a gateway convoy that is under attack by red hessians then I would make sure my convoy gets to safety before returning to help. That's my first priority, right? They can't blame me for helping my own before my extended allies. I'm sure they would be able to hold them off long enough for me to get back to them.
If a gallic tries to insult me, it dies. It dies unless it stands out of our path and stays put while I call the cops. You might have killed my dad gallics but lets see if its any better to rot in prison....
I do not know what Glaswegian badgers are but they sound terrible. Sorry, your going to have to fill me in on that one fellas.
Your application has been passed to me from the HR department.
Your application wasn't very clear, is it the ExSec department you are applying to or the Trade Shipping Combine?
Nothing to worry about, we can address your suitability at the meeting I would like to have with you on Scarborough Station in the Newcastle system. Miss Kiriko Hidamari, Director of ExSec Division will also be at the meeting.
I am so sorry to hear of you mothers illness; you may be interested to know that after 3 months of probationary service, you and your family will be eligible for full medical benefits. We have excellent medical facilities on all of our stations and a Convalescent Centre on Planet Cambridge to recuperate from illnesses.
You will of course also have to go through a simulated combat test and an orientation and familiarisation test flight on one of our ExSec ships. Depending on your experience etc. it would be one of the following:
Griffin, Eagle, Kingfisher, Roc or Havoc
If you could bring your birth-certificate and National Insurance details with you, this will help process you application further, if you are successful at the interview.
