Wonder how they would complain about, if the cockpit would be big enough for the pilot to fit in and must not take place far behind.
Your arguments simply point to the fact, Eagle is too good for a CIVILIAN ship and not GC fighter is bad. Unfortunately DA have not thought about, the game would be used for multiplayer mods. Then they probably have had given the Eagle worster stats.:P
The only thing I am wondering about the Blossom is why it is called Very Heavy Fighter. Because 2 of it's 6 Guns can mount class 10 weaps (same as Blackdragon)? Not sure, but i think i remember the Greyhound having all 4 guns class 10, need to check though. This little bloom has even less armour than CSV.

I'm flying Praetorian and Waran, as well as Roc. Now don't tell me they are fast turners.
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.

Edit: Sorry, that may have seemed a bit rude. But I will point out that the AFA had the best ships in the game used against it all the time last version, and our rp AND pvp didnt hurt for it.
I never said the GC VHF was bad anyway Zelot. (Bomber is another story, though from what I hear, it may be getting changed soon.) I quite like it (combat-wise, in looks its lacking..).
And keep in mind, most GC didn't use Redcat because it was great against fighters, we used it because we needed a bomber better than the Preagle because we got cap spams at Ainu about 4 times a day. My Redcat, for example, had a loadout of 4 Codes, 1 SN, 1 CD. Not exactly a fighter killer (even with the Redcat's agility, taking out VHFs with Codenames ain't easy. 600m/s speed and all that. I chose that loadout because it was good against capships, which was the point of my bomber).
Many people here think that just because GC used Redcats, we used them to gank fighters.. While I won't say that never happened, many of the GC who used them used them because we desperately needed the anti-cap defense. Rarely did I ever fight a fighter in my Redcat unless he either attacked me first, or it was in a fight where there was a capship and I had lived passed its death.
Its just the stereotype that GC used Redcats for anti-fighter reasons that irks me. Like most stereotypes, it's not true.
strange as it might sound - yes, i happen to read all posts before i write something. - i am at a loss why people assume that i ignore posts.
but if you like - i can also post a very simple solution.
we can change the ID card instead of the stats... - but if the stats need changing, it needs thourough testing and balancing. - nothing is worse than ending up with a red cat ship for over year until another update comes out.
i don t know how the GC bomber is doing - so i ask if you made thourough testing or if we can get more than one side of the coin. - after all, no one wants other ships ( e.g. the BHG gunship ) to be improved, cause the those that fly it complain - without listening to those that have to fight it.
imo - EVERYONE is ALLWAYS biased, period. - a player that has 2 billion credits, fully equipped ships and everything will have no problem with nerfing the trading - as a matter of fact, he ll see many beneficial things about not having a great inflation.
the owner of a perfect ship will go to any length to defend this ship against any attempts to nerf it in ANY way. - search the forum... - "in the name of roleplay" - how many player EVER complained about an ID card stating their ship is supposed to be WEAKER than it is and asked for a nerf? - i bet you find no single thread.
so that is why i always want as many opinions from as many sides as possible - and if that is not possible - at least serious testing like i described. - i don t care for the stats - the game would be better off if there were no programs displaying ANY stats and if NO stats were displayed on ANY ship.
It's interesting seeing some of these since I'm pretty sure I've also read the Blossom and Black Dragon (with amazingly similar stats) were vastly overpowered.

Not to mention Preeagle was buggy. Which is bad for business.
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.
here is a front view ( the profile that really matters in VHF combat )
from the top the eagle is larger, too - only from the side the GC VHF offers a greater ( rather more compact ) target. - but the front profile is really a good deal smaller t han the eagle.
Yeah, I know, the Preagle was sooooo bad, yet there were factions that didnt resort to using a ship they really shouldnt have instead of using. Cap spam the reason? I point you to the XA who used the Preagle, cant say they didnt get cap spammed a hell of a lot more than the GC. Dab, most GC used the redcat because it was a bomber that could easily take down fighters or caps, lets not try and suggest thats not the truth. The Preagle was good enough for the XA and AFA, what makes the GC diffrent?
Off-topic much, Zelot? Don't make me go and get the fire extinguisher..
Jinx's pictures show exactly what I said in Post #2 of this thread. It's a tiny (read: cute) little ship - with a good power plant and maneuverability although funnily enough the picture doesnt show it, so check FLstat if you really don't believe me.
If I didn't make myself clear before, I can almost guarantee that I love this ship more than all you, and I think it's just peachy the way it is.
