I am quiet convinced everyone has one or more games they had high expectations about, but ended up in a total fail, so lets post them here and why we hate them.
For me this is Stronghold 2, for years i had been waiting for it, and when it finally arrived, i realized that the only thing that had really changed were the graphics. They had sticked to mostly the same units and buildings and the story itself was kinda boring (only cool part was that you could chose between good and evil)

For me, it was Empire Earth II and III. The original was awesome with its graphics and gameplay. The following games were too convoluted and nonsensical. I think the simpler a game tries to be, the greater its appeal. Think StarCraft....or even Age of Empires. Of course, I could still play Pong for hours, so what do I know?
(If you find any mistake in my English, please let me know via a PM)
(Really, I speak terrible English, so please, tell me if I make mistakes. I'd like to improve it a bit )
Zealot Wrote:Just go play the game and have fun dammit.
Treewyrm Wrote:all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
Empire Earth 2 (it supposed a Empire Building RTS, and looks like some harder version of Z)
Star Wars Rebellion/Gungan Frontier (they suck)
Master of Orion 3
EVE (biggest dissapointmen in my gaming life, you have to be a Space Engineer, to set up a ship, and a trained monkey for fighting)
Louvre- The final curse. More of an interactive picture than a game. You stand still, press buttons to turn around, click on items to go over there, no action, bad puzzles, then the game hits a dead end when a clue you were supposed to pick up but forgot means you can't pass an area and go on.
