If you agree with my comment, then why are you asking for an increase in the anti-bomber capability of the Battlecruiser? Battlecruisers are solely anti - capital, and not suitable to fight bombers due to their size, shape and weaponry.
The fire arcs don't need to be good in all directions - the ship is designed to charge things, not fire at them from the side or backwards.
Well, the battlecruiser can be a anti bomber/fighter ship depending on the weapons onboard and the pilot.
I really believe if their was atleast three turrent on the bottom of the ship with a firing angle to were it can only go side to side it would be better than nothing
The concept was, Gunboats are anti fighter, Cruisers are anti cap and Battleships pwn all...
Now how in god's name can an anti fighter BC fit the concept?

Solaris do about as much as transport turrets with a little extra juice.
A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.
' Wrote:I agree with roberts comment entirly an their does need to be some weapons on the bottom of the ship to help with not just the bomber issue but the firing solutions and angles. Personally this oversight has left me stumped as to why this was not fixed sooner. If their was only two to the guns on the bottom portion of the ship it would be better than it is now
Apparently you haven't studied the ship. "OMG, I got pwned, the ship sucks!"
I primarily fly a battlecruiser. Pay VERY close attention to your weapons loadout and where you stick your guns. If you do so, I guarantee you'll be much happier.
Here's my loadout: Turrets 1/2 - BHG turrets. Turrets 3/4 - Light mortars. Turrets 5-10 - BHG turrets. Turret 11 - Light Mortar Turret 12 - Mortar. This give the Battlecruiser 4 BHG turrets able to fire directly behind the ship for anti-fighter/anti-bomber capability. Keep the nose pointed to the enemy cap ships - spamming 3 light mortars or one light mortar AND the mortar makes anyone go ouch. Learn to fly in cockpit mode. Learn to use EK - in this ship, you CAN do that and turn fast enough. Learn to push V at the right time to check your 6 and nail the guy coming up behind you.
In other words - learn to fly the ship.

Solaris may do similar damage to smaller turrets, but they are effective as they are fast-turning and have high-speed projectiles.

As explained earlier, you cannot effectively kit out a Battlecruiser to be anti-fighter/bomber (even if you mount Solaris) due to its large size and weapon placement. Cruiser solaris have 800 range, which means the solaris turrets will struggle to cover all areas around the lengthy battlecruiser. This is intended.
Battlecruisers are anti-capital ships. They can not effectively combat bombers, as they give up the major capabilities of dodging and having concentrated weaponry (weapons close together) in exchange for powerful anti-capital firepower. The weapons are have forward firing arcs, so that you can not fight bombers effectively in all directions. That's the way it's supposed to be.
nothing is impossible if you put enoght effort into it. I well say that a all solaris setup does have a down side
to fighting bombers. That is why i have been spending all my spare time making weapon combos that work best vs fighters an bombers.
