Anyway I just would like to say that you definatly take a unique aproach to your sig making, which looks really quite nice, it gives it furturistic effect, nice work.:D

The glowy effect around the ship isn't bad, but did you do the same thing with the photo? It makes him look kind of washed out...
Overall, great work. I'll be wiring you 15 mil next time I log in.
Be kinder than necessary, because everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.

It looks to me like you used a bevel/emboss effect on the renders used, or more precisely the ship and character. Generally this gives the renders in question a rather odd look, so... Yeah. It's nice, but the renders just look a little bit too washed out, as Peter pointed out.

Sorry for sticking my head in here.

I would suggest to try using the burn tool (if the software you're using has that or an equivalent of it) to darken the left side of the character to make him fit in a bit better with the lighting. Also, darkening the character a little bit with a lightness setting could help with the dry look it has presently. Dunno about the latter, but the left side has a light edge which doesn't quite fit in with the lighting of the sig (which appears to be coming from the upper right, after all).
I love the effect you gave the ship. Ghostly:P
