I have to agree with what was said about Empire Earth 2 and 3 and Stronghold 2. The originals were epic and these were just disapointing in all asppects. The game play was made more complex than ever before and that took the fun out of it.
I am a big RTS gamer and the two eras before this one were definatly the best. ( the one with 'Rise of Nations' and Empire earth, and the one with Stronghold: Crusader and Age of Empires 2)

There are tons that media never even heard about.

I've got a few genuinely bad games I could list here, but this seemed to be more about disappointing games.
for me its gothic 3 forsaken gods...
they have bugs in it, that were fixed in the normal gothic 3, its even on a high end PC not lagfree, and it has so much bugs:(

but it was the worst disappointment.
I was a big fan of AoE series. And AoE II rocked my gamer world.
AoE III had massive drawbacks, i could name dozens.
That is true, although. I didn't get the same feeling as others in it. The biggest problem probably is that its storyline was linear, with a single family rather than ''Pick your own favourite scenario, and re-create History!''
Nooo. Instead, they make you play an important key part in the French and Indian war, The Mexican Revolution and the Ottoman Invasion of the island of Malta.
And don't forget the people who were Russian Rushers online. That's why I sticked with the Ottomans; probably the most powerful, economy ruining rushes you've seen!
Imo the entire EA Sports line of games are awful, they are the most pathetic money-making tool ever invented (i am shocked micro$oft didnt think of it first!), as who in their right mind would want to play football (soccer for you americans) on a screen when you can just go outside and do it?! Also, there is so little to them, it is amasing they are even sold as individual games, rather than just release one and make the rest downloadable upgrades, this = people spending money on games that are almost exactly the same as one they already own!
