Somewhat offtopic but it does relate.
On the Council ship side, why is Gallia even here if we are apparently awaiting some massive unveiling of the Council's core roleplay?
Honestly, what is so big that we can't at least try apply for Official status when we have clearly been around for a long time and done a good job of things.
Basically, the Council ship situation would be resolved if we were able to become Official. Is there any chance of this happening before the core system release?
The owned sytems of most official Factions are the Guard systems for that same NPC faction, restricting them, would mean to keep the PvP-equipment from independent players. Or forcing them to oorp move their ships to where ever, prius an gammu or something.
The owner of the systems are free to design them, that should be enough.
Not a good idea at all, "lol, your not facshun, i kill you", please no.
Restricting Battleships, why, never meet too many around.
I dont have one, and am not planning on, but if its said, only official factions may have them allow them, it just does not feel right, ok they plyed here first, some years now, but that does not entitle any of them, that others have to ask nicely for a ship.
Removing the licence in case of sanction is a good thing, but letting other players decide who gets a ship and how dont is garbage.
Should i buy a Battleship tonight?, just in case?, maybe ill never be allowed to get one again, sorry, its just stupid.
Besides its a longtime since i saw a Battleship lolwuting in housespace, and i am in rheinland most of the time, witch is shurely one of the most capwhoring places.
Restricting events, we already have that to a point, no need to make it a rule, almost all events are faction and invite only, if its said no, were enough, you leave, works.
what about making only responsible institution about this things in factions, where more player factions are, their together councils?
i mean for example, corsairs, outcasts and so. because when all can decide that. (for example OPG,TBH,Benitez) it can start situations, where one faction deny the bs license for player, and other give him it...
and that can start bad conflicts...
As someone who voted No in that poll, I would like to point out how flawed the survey itself was.
A convenience survey was used. As any statistician should know, these surveys are innately flawed, as they are usually only taken by those who are strongly opinionated about a particular subject.
Of course, I realize that I may be asking too much when I ask that you slow down and re-examine this who process again, or perhaps, conducted a random sample survey, but the fact is, we may be making a mistake.
I have no objections to the decisions of the administrators, as they should know. I do, however, have a strong objection to the fact that this decision was made based on possibly inaccurate data.

Johnny_Haas: ??
Johnny_Haas: why you shoot criuse speed rockets?
You always feel that way. I applaud the decision myself, as it will cut down on the lolcaps that currently flood the universe.
It will also help all of the factions by placing funds back at their disposal.
