Flip the whole model upside down. Then flip the engine part (last 1/3) back. Then put a new bridge superstructure at the top of the flipped middle section. Got the picture now?

I figured out why my head was looking at the bridge like it was a midget.
The giant fins at the front of the ship dwarf everything else.
What's the point in having a bridge pointing forwards if you have a giant fin towering over it?
That would be my view.
Mkay, I changed the depth of the keel just a little bit (it's a little bit deeper now so it will match up to the current hitbox better, though obviously we'll be redoing that anyways, I added a large passive sensor (in between the two bridges) and four active sensors (mounted just short of the joint between the two segments of the forward hull). There are sixteen guns, fourteen of them firing forward (as in the current model), but a considerably lower number falling directly backwards (only two dedicated rear turrets, one mounted on the spoiler on top of the engine and one on the ventral strut attaching the engine vent to the hull). The forward-firing turrets are layered with six distributed along the ventral, port and starboard bow-fins, four mounted along the joint between the two forward hulls, four on the extended edge directly off to the side of the bridge, and the two aforementioned rear-firing guns. The countermeasure is mounted directly behind the rear dorsal turret. I've also modified the pyramidal superstructure (to try and make it a little less blatant) by converting the un-windowed base extending partially above the base of the main hull and the two bottom-most, forward-most rows of windows into blank hull and armor.
I'll send it to a couple of other modelers tomorrow and ask them to look for errors. Then I'm going to have a go at actually texturing it. Wish me luck.
