DynoXe International (DXI) is a Private Military Company serving as skilled fighters-for-hire and suppliers for most of Sirius. Some may call us "Mercenaries," But we find that a little disgraceful, and frankly rude. You might as well be comparing a rag-tag group of Rogues to an Outcast fleet. With the exception of the Mandalorians, who I have the utmost respect for, Mercenaries are rough-cut and reckless men wandering around Sirius looking for a job. DynoXe is however a skillfully organized corporation with proven tactics and excellent strategies. DXI is also a supplier of military arms, parts, and materials, and is known for its ability to get the goods to the destination at any cost.
[color=#990000]Background
DynoXe International was founded in the early years of the 9th Century, by an Ex-VP of a Company doomed to failure. That man's name is Mattaki Seido, and even knowing the cause of the company's downfall, he let it fall. For in his mind, and in his namesake, there is the key ideal that anything without precise purpose is doomed to indecision, and ultimately failure. DynoXe was born from the ashes of that Company, and with it a new sense of leadership and integrity. However, not all went smoothly, and DXI was forced to play it low for a couple years...
During this time Seido learned the value of playing in the shadows. Many deals were to be made in the back alleys of the Border Worlds, and Profits don't hold any morals... With a few shallow deals and consortium with some federal units to dig up these deals, DXI was held from the brink of bankruptcy. With a new sense of business, DXI soon began slowly but surely upscaling operations all over Sirius. Contracts began to be signed and when news broke out of how effectively they were upheld, they just got bigger and better. Everyone thought DXI was finally regaining its balance in the universe, but only God knew what was in store for them.
During a routine transport run, a Transport carrying Nuclear Cells on a government contract was under attack, and even with a full escort, the Supernova's still managed to hit a soft spot. There were no survivors. The ordeal caused a bit of doubt in the Company's abilities, and contracts started to slowly "disappear." Eventually, DynoXe started to take unlawful contracts as well, causing some tension between the local police forces. DXI was running out of friends, and running out of time. Following an investigation by Bretonian authorities, DynoXe International was Temporarily Disbanded by Director Seido. It has been 4 years since that time, and with criminal syndicates on the rise, Mattaki Seido has reinstated the company. Now, he is looking for pilots ready to fight for profit and prestige, and to reform DXI to it's former Glory.
[color=#33CCFF]Structure
Being essentially a corporation, DynoXe International is set up the way you'd find in any grand company. There are two Departments: Military and Supply.
----Director:
The Director oversees all internal and external affairs, and essentially controls the Company. Appoints the Department Execs and approves recommendations for new Squads and Trade Areas.
---Department Executive:
The Heads of the Departments take general orders from the Director, and help ensure that their respective Departments follow the common goals of the Company. The two Execs have joint authority in the absence of the Director.
Military Department
--Squad Commander:
Will usually be the CO in skirmishes. (unless the Military Exec. or the Director is present) Each squad leader has complete freedom on the way he trains and uses his squad. Naming, Organization, and Tactics will all be decided by the Commander. The squad may at any time be visited by the Exec/Director and asked to perform drills or tests to ensure top military efficiency.
-Squad Member/"Squadder"
Backbone of the Military Department. Listens to his respective Commander and attends scheduled drills. Can go after targets solo if any Officer is not present, or if he so desires. Can also group up with other "Squadders" to Improvise a squad if they are out-gunned. Where the "Mercenary" part comes from.
Supply Department
--Transit Manager:
Oversees the transit of arms and supplies to contracted bases. Works with the Supply Exec. to assign routes to Transports. Goes and scopes out the economic field for potential contracts and trading routes. Is in charge of collecting weekly data for the monthly Economic Report to the Executive. There is one Manager per Trade Route/Area.
-Trader/"Route Runner"
Gets assigned a route or a few to choose from, and fulfills our supply contracts. Reports to the Transit Manager if there is Piracy or if there is a disturbance stopping the Trader from completing his run. Makes weekly reports on ship and profit status.
[color=#99FFFF]Diplomacy
Being a hired company, DynoXe's Diplomacy is very dynamic., and dependent on the current contracts. However there are some set in stone policies concerning certain groups, and they are as follows:
-
[color=#FFCC66]Mandalorian Mercenaries -- As fellow 'mercenary' warriors, we will not under ANY circumstances fight a Mandalorian.
-
House Militaries -- We are not permanent allies of any House forces, however any contracts against House forces (BAF, BPA, RFP, RM, KNF, KSP, LN, LPI) will have to be well compensated and there will have to be some face-to-face discussion prior to signing.
-
Zoners -- Same rule as above, as we respect their desire for money and independence. However, we are less reluctant to sign contracts if the client can justify their reasoning, to some extent at least.
-
-
Nomad's and Wilde -- Hostile to the utmost degree. Kill On Sight.

Notes:
A. I know the Supply Department might not be as important, But RP wise I found it crucial to the whole "PMC" Thing, or else it's just another Merc-Squad.
B. The name might sound a little weird, but I think its not too bad. Derived from DynCorp and Xe International (Formerly Blackwater)
C. Personally I like the whole concept of a "Company" and all its organization and regulations and then applying it to a down and gritty thing like battles, and thats where a lot of this idea came from. And since it is a Company, I thought that there should be a wage system in place. All for RP.
D. I'm working on a one or two paragraph "Background" piece as to the history of the company, also for RP purposes and to sorta clarify where this all came from. [COMPLETED]
E. Plan on putting up a Roster once we have enough people.
Anyways, Tell me what you think. ^^

Looks good, but honestly, I have seen a million PMC's come and go. The most successful one I have seen is the Mandolorians. I would recomend looking at their work and perhaps talking to Deiter.

They're sorta the inspiration for this idea. I spent a good month or so in the Mandalorians and it was definitely interesting. Its a little funny though, as I've never really seen them as a PMC until just this moment ^^" The way they act out and carry themselves strikes me a little less as a Corporation would, and more like a Brotherhood.. Which is how I always saw them anyways ^^ I'll definitely get in touch with Dieter and a couple other pals for tips and such if I start trying this idea.
' Wrote:...You're cribbing the name from Blackwater?
Classy!
Technically "Blackwater" Doesn't Exist anymore:PIt's Xe now, also like I said part of the name came from DynCorp, a lesser known PMC that shared some stage time with Blackwater.

UPDATE: Threw in a quick Background like I said I would and nicer a title name as well.
PS. I'm just curious as to what year it ACTUALLY is in Sirius, as I've heard a LOT of different times... but still pretty lost ^^" Anyways... Just curious is all.

Gracias Mate. ^^ Let me go and fix that piece then...

1. Your Civilian weapons exclude Chain Guns. One might want to use Purple Goddesses now, as they suck less and are Particle weapons.
2. Your fighters are far more limited than I'd have expected. Additions to consider: Virage VHF (Zoner, sold publicly), Kingfisher HF (Civilian), Marauder HF (literally sold to anyone), Crow HF (generic), Tiger Shark LF (Rheinland Civilian*), Mafic SHF (civilian), Touketsu VHF (Civilian).
* While made in Rheinland, it hasn't yet been banned from Liberty, as it's a civilian craft, not military.
3. Needs a tag for names. DXI)Name would work, or if you intend for some squads to be permanent arrangements, something like DXI-S)Name, where S is the first letter in the squad name.
Depending on my schedule next week, I might want to help out more, maybe even joining. I was thinking of making a mercenary recently. Go ahead and add me to Skype if you want (thexare, just like here).
It's 4 AM here, however, so I'm gonna cut that short and go to *collapses*

I'll stick those in right away. The tags would probably somewhat around your second suggestion as well. That would be awesome if you wouldn't mind helping/joining, we'll keep in touch ^^.
UPDATE...AGAIN: Added the suggested info, and tweaked some things as well. Will begin actual work soon.
