FFVIII ( still have it on my comp , in all its 4 disc glory)
Ratchet & Clank... I THINK it was before 2000 ... but then again it might have been in 2000 .... .meh , screw it . It was the first PS2 game i bought , and i love the franchise ever since
Hmm, so many games! But I think I will have to make a list below, although in no particulaar order:
Fallout 2
Sid Meier's "Pirates! Gold" (original one)
Dune 2000
Command and Conquer
UFO: Enemy Unknown (or Xcom: Enemy Unknown / Xcom: UFO Defence as it was also known)
Frontier: Elite 2 (I played this for so many hours XD )
Resident Evil 2
Metal Gear Solid
Doom 2
Flashback
Crusader: No Remorse
Desert Strike
Cannon Fodder
Monkey Island 2
Day of the Tentacle
Carmageddon 1
Syndicate
North & South
Simon The Sorcerer
Starcraft 1
Another World
James Pond 2: Codename Robocod
Golden Axe
Turrican
The Black Crypt
Duke Nukem 3D
Quake, which introduced me (and millions more) to the wonderful world of online FPS deathmatches.
Unreal Tournament, for continuing that tradition.
Half-Life, for being an awesome game which revolutionized FPS games.
Fallout 2, for being amazing.
Diablo, for wasting more of my time than possibly any other game, up to and including Diablo 2.
Deus Ex, for being amazing.
Thief (and Thief 2, which came out in 2000), for being awesome and starting the 'first-person sneaker' genre.
System Shock 2, for a great storyline and being really damn creepy.
Total Annihilation, for being one of the best RTS games, ever.
Sid Meyer's Alpha Centauri/Alien Crossfire, for being one of the best TBS games, ever. I still play it to this day, and enjoy it more than any of the Civilization games.
Nethack, for being as old as I am and still truckin' (not that I'm that old, but for computer games, Nethack is).
A SNES game with a dynamic economy, the world would change based on how much ASS you kicked ETC.
A head of its time, there ia also a PC version, tho SNES is better, and Emulateable.Basically, you sail around following the story, or defect to another country, and do whatever the hell you wanted.I have Owned the world at one point in time,Which does cause some weird(but exploitable) bugs.If i own the world and blow up ecveryone elses merchants, they get no money, no money, less warships,Recruit warship captains, Leave noobs sailing Dingies for war fleets,Pwn the world with your awesome Kusarian Ironclads.
Red Alert 1. Honestly, so raw and difficult. The way strategy games should be.
[8:32:45 PM] Dusty Lens: Oh no, let me get that. Hello? Oh it's my grandma. She says to be roleplay.
[12:49:19 AM] Elgatodiablo: You know its nice that you have all that proof and all, Bacon... but I just don't believe you.
