A lot of us have been in the same place. Yes, it's a glitch. It's been around forever, and there's something about the code that may keep the Club active for a long time.
It will take you patience and a bit of F1ing to get out. I've heard there's a mystical magickal thrusting technique that can be used during the F1ing, but I have a bad lower back. Perhaps someone else can step up now and demonstrate.

I am wondering if the F1 thing even works any more at Detroit with the FLHook running... Any one have any input on that?

jumpgate traffic-jam solution: F1 and back or wait indefinately as at times the gate thinks there's a npc trying to dock and no one's there

Congratulations,I had previously tried an earlier version of Discovery but could only play SP because I was getting kicked from the game when I tried to leave a base.So far with this new version I haven't had any problems at all.
I was doing a single player game, had bought the Battleship at Stuttgard, everytime I launched, I blew up.
tried three or four times to launch, same thing. It blows up when the gate is saying, " good luck out thar"
has anyone else had this problem?
I ended up getting the humpback and buying another battleship elsewhere...but darn, I WANT THAT RHINELAND BATTLESHIP.

BUT you could up your cargo holds buy purchasing up to 4 Cargo Pods, at 25 units each.

Current Online Characters
Make masses lower (while keeping the bank angles standard), standard them all, something like 60 for a light fighter, 80 for a heavy, 100 for a VHF, and 130 for a bomber
Double the impulse speeds (not thrusters) and alter the speeds for light-vhf's, a difference of 10 or 20 would be cool.
I think we should make ejected pilots and passengers take up 2-3 cargo slots, just as VIPs take up 5. It might be interesting to have various other cargo types that are probably bulky (military vehicles, for example) take up extra space.
Overall prices could be raised somewhat to compensate.
I don't know if this was mentioned before...I was carrying some prisoners to planet Nuemberg in Munich system..there i found that it is possible to mount two gunboat fwd guns on Behemoth trade ship...i didn't mount them but i think that Behemoth can fire three shoots form just one of them before it loses power
That shouldn't be possible...it over powers the Behemoth...

My thoughts are that i?d like to see trading missions as well as kill everything missions , you know get this cargo to manhatten before it expires that sort of thing , don?t know if its do-able but would be fun.
