Attention BAF

Since it is possible to move ships to other accounts, we could "Donate" our existing GB's and dessies to common accounts. Lt Cdr's could drive GB's, and Commanders and above, Dessies.

One idea is to have one gb and one dessie on each common account.

As for battleships, The Pendragon is already on a common account. I don't see us needing more. Anyone disagree?

Who has GB's and Dessies they would be willing to put on common accounts?

For my part I could donate my GB (Indefatigable), and my dessie (Isaac Brock)

Who else has ships they would be willing to move to common accounts?

Any other opinions about this?

Anyone hate this idea?

This is just an idea at this point, may not be implemented. But I do want to know whose ships might go on it, and what the are.

Some of the reasoning behind this:

As you know, the BAF have limits to the amount of caps we will ever have. However, this means that new members, who may be next month's Admirals, may come across a time when the cap-slots are all taken.

This will allow all members that meet specific, as yet undecided, criteria to fly larger vessels.

Don't have any caps, but I'll donate my challenger to a shared if you want. I could do with the free character slot, and we rarely wheel out the challengers anyway. It would be a money-saving initiative.

Would be fun to fly this GB everyone complains about all the time too.

I already have my dessie (Invictus) on a shareable account, so I'm already ready for this if we do it. Personally, I think this is a great idea.

my dessie(still need to go rename it and fix its loadout) is on an otherwise empty account, which i will consider sharing. depending on a number of things.


oh, and i think it might be best if there were a few gunboat only shared accounts.

Also, the training Bret Gunboat could be renamed to something generic and used as shared one, I didnt see anyone using it for training anyway.

Sir, I would gladly donate the Wellesley, had it not "rusted" to death from lack of use. I'm sure it's lurking around the yards somewhere.

Perhaps I should pay close attention to my warty genitalia, for fear it too may fall off from a premature retirement.

I already made the training gunboat a working gunboat for normal use, I also gave my destroyer's access to some others, which will do I think. Shared challengers I think would be great, noone likes that lump of junk, and having the poor sods have to let one take up a slot on their account, sort of cruel. Also sort of a cost saver, we dont need to fund bombers anymore with shared ones available to use.

copy from RHA and use RAF bomber's names for codenames (can also get rid of those SN on the armoury from 484).
