You have mentioned this at least 5 times in this thread.We get it,it's not nice but people are doing it.Personally I haven't seen any Order| member doing it,but in RP it is completely justified.When you are damaged or hurt in battle you retreat to your base until you are ready to defend your home planet again.
Omicron Minor is suppose to be home of secret agents for which one no one shouldn't know.At yet there is a huge activity from Libertorians,BH....
Minor has only one Defense in whole system and that is Isis and you want to nerf it down.This hidding from Isis is used only when we need some time to gather proper forces to defend ourself.When several BH caps(1,2BS,1,2,BC...etc) come to Minor what do you expect?that we attack you with few bombers?
It's not only oorp,it is suicide.
But when I think over it again,no one should be doing this thing with retreating to Isis to get shields up and then returning to battle again.
But if you nerf down Isis power that won't stop people from hiding behind it,it will still stay there and be shelter for players.
As someone who's been playing on his Order character for just one day, I'll say that Isis doesn't deserve a nerf.
I might have practically not played at all, but players retreating behind the Isis, that's a player problem, not a mod problem.
Sort it out with them properly. Nerfing a ship doesn't fix it, really.
And another thing.
Why not hold the battles somewhere that's not Toledo, really?
I can guarantee that you can have a perfectly good fight in another system, or somewhere else in Omicron Minor.
Stage a fight 30k away from the Isis, you won't have any problems then.
And another thing. Toledo's supposed to be secret, ain't it?
So don't raid it.
And lastly, be more organized.
Who says you can't set up a fight with minimal effort in the length of 5 minutes of organizing?

Well, battlecruiser thingy does work, for smaller peepps don't bother about it, keep your distance... Toledo would probably in RP launch all fighters all ships if bounty hunters got that close... what would spell disaster for BHG, so it would be far more realistic to combat somewhere in the omicrons, far from toledo...

i saw using that tactic when there were 3 bombers against 3 order cruisers and 2 fighters... I dont think that it is overkill ...
On the other side,when all have fear from cap spamming,refuce nber of the smaller turrets. It can always hurt a cap,but vhf or bomber can easy dodge it...
The Isis is the Order's main line of defense in Order space. Without it, we would have enemies here and there every day and no one would bother playing as the Order anymore if we can't even fly around in our own space. Everyone has a strong base in their home system they can retreat to. The closer you get to your home, the more heavily defended it should be. Toledo should by canon rp be a top secret base, naturally you need a strong defense. If you don't like it, don't come to our home system! How would you feel if your enemy was in your main base every day and not even your npc's could stop them. Wouldn't that ruin the fun?
The Isis does not need to be changed. I'd rather have more and stronger patrols around Toledo in the Asteroid Field. Minor has 5 entry/exit point, which for being a secret system, is a hell of a lot. Don't like the Isis? Don't come to Minor.
Could somebody post the Isis infocard, partly out of my own curiosity and partly for the benefit of this discussion?
Anyways, if you're fighting Order ships in Minor and they thrust away to the Isis, then assuming you're not within 3k of the battleship, just float slightly away and type "Enemies retreating, continue operations" or something like that. Even better, don't fight near the Isis. That way, when you win and they thrust away out of scanner range, then they're fleeing and must log off/leave.
Why not change the BS's to have only anti-cap weapons? Maybe there would be a few anti fighter weapons, but the point would be to stop BS campers. On a side note, why don't Crete, and Malta have stationary BS's? Is it a vanilla thing?

Doesn't the isis already have only cap weapons? Im pretty sure it uses primary turrets, not secondary.
