All I have to say is ... Welcome to Liberty, Hell-hole Extraordinair! A place of super happy fun-time pvpwhoring and base camping.
I already wasted piles upon piles of cash on Liberty characters only to delete them a few weeks afterwards because the place is so damn hateable. RP is rare, most dialog I got in it was "Engaging hostile!".
And since we are one a roll of pointing fingers , I'd like to say that the BHG| also have the lovelly habit of overkilling. About 90% of my encounters with the BHG| were heavilly unbalanced. But then again I
guess there are pvpwhores on every side.
I agree that this has to stop. Maybe making a skype chatroom with every unlawfull in Liberty so people can give out a warning when person X is camping base Y would be of some help.

We have a feedback thread. Post in there and send us the evidence instead of just making claims.

You mean there isn't a Liberty unlawful chat?!?!?! Rheinland is way ahead of you.
Go point your fingers at the feedback thread.
Second thread in two days, and not one of you could find the feedback thread or send me a single ss.
' Wrote:NO, you effing cant. You CAN do that...but IN RP the bases are armed to the teeth so you CAN do that if you WANT TO DIE in rp. Just because you can sit behind a rock hidden from the fire and safe via GAME mechanics, or because those are effing bloodhounds for fuhsake, it doesent mean you SHOULD do that, since its a frigging deathwish.
Ive had too many complaints and ive been 5k away from Buffalo with a BHG| on my merc and I had to drag him out by the ears, rping, that I do not wish to be here when the Rogue patrols return home.
Only because the game mechanics lets you, it doesn't mean you need to give up rational thought.
Welcome to Discovery RP Server
There needs to be an end to this bull even if it ends up with the devs placing gunboat missile turrets and battleship razors on each pirate base.
Uhm, actually, it is perfectly within vanilla Bounty Hunter RP to chase pirates to their base and/or conduct assaults on same with the intent of killing/capturing said pirates.
Yes, it is bad to undock a fighter to 5 or so hostiles, and I would never encourage someone to park outside a base with the sole intention of killing anyone undocking, but take a look around at the NPC patrols by pirate bases. Chances are, you will see frequent Bounty Hunter spawns and engagements with the defenders...
If you make/play an unlawful character, you have to accept the fact that Hunters are going to...hunt...you.
As a fighter pilot, you should be able to flee from any in house Hunters without too much trouble (yes, flee and dock, they already know where the bases are, no point hiding their locations) and, as a gunboat...well, you -should- be able to take on and beat several fighter opponents...and you should probably be flying with escorts, anyway (gunboats are quite a valuable asset to any unlawful group, after all). Easiest way to avoid Hunters as an unlawful is to engage cruise and head for home as soon as one pops up on scanners...
Subject: Lesson 13. Debris Fields, the Badlands, and radiation clouds
In the interest of the safety of our personnel, do not enter the badlands more than 2 or 3K, it is too dangerous to go any further than that. Also, don't stray more than 2 or 3K from the Pennsylvania gate/Ithaca area.
Debris fields: use your judgment. If you think You are going to get ambushed, pull back until help arrives.
As for the Dark matter / particle clouds in the New York / Texas systems, don't go in very far. The Liberator doesn't have enough shielding to protect you.
A good rule is if you can't see very well, stay out of it.

' Wrote:well - i do mostly kusari BHG stuff as kusari GM - but i d be glad if you provided the BHG| with screens that any official BHG| chased you to one of your bases. - at the same time, i d of course ask for evidence that there was an intention to actually log out / leave the system for 4 hours ( due to the retreat rule )
often enough - players ( official & unofficial alike ) do not respect the retreat. - they pull back and continue talking, taunting etc. - when they "should" simply and quietly LEAVE the system ***on the fastest way possible***.
they come up with the most obscure explanations why they don t leave.
anyway - if BHG| players chase you to your bases and it is a totally unfounded and ooRP matter - i am sure we can discuss it in the faction and find a solution that suits everyone. but like every case of accusations - i believe in the innocence of the accused unless prove is provided.

It would be enough that the leader of such a squad would order his comrades to fall back, that's why they are called 'leaders'. Some better RP skills should be required for gaining ranks, shouldn't they? Just think a moment before you chase a single unlawful deep into a nebula or other kinds of dangerous areas. Dozens of pirate vessels could be hidden there.

You know, I had a whole rant prepared for this , but I am just going to leave it at this:
***NOTE the following is my opinion,- don't like it? Tough ***
As one four the Deputy Chiefs of the LPI faction, I find it is next to Impossible to find players who WANT to be in the LPI. After a while is is difficult as hell to expect them to play. Many have started out as LPI and then quit.
Why? with a 12: 1 ratio of unlawfuls to lawfuls, people get tired of getting their asses ganked every time they undock. Don't deny it, I have ss myself of a few that happened to me. Perhaps I should spam some feedback threads.
Personally, I am APPRECIATIVE of those who haven't quit and walked away.

For those of you who do nothing but complain about the LPI, I have a challenge, if you have the guts:
Play as a new LPI recruit for 1 week. Yup, just one little ole week, hell, I will even buy your ship out of my own funds. 5 Million to setup a Patriot with weapons.
Make a fake login name, let me know via PM who you are, and its on. Come and see with your own eyes.
Tell you what, I am even going to make a general post about this....
