This evening, till about 15 minutes ago. I was in Omicron Delta in an up to one moment pretty fun fight on my Order character versus various Nomad characters(Keepers, morphs, Tundra, the usual.) and it was going pretty well.
Some caps from the Order side, but they were gracious enough to disengage when I asked them to.
However, there were an Corsair dreadnought, a Corsair cruiser, and later 3 more dreadnoughts and two cruisers who came later, merrily bashing away at the Nomads.
From the beginning of the fight I was trying to ask them in-RP to disengage because of various reasons. They of course said 'No.'
So I left. But.
What concerns me is that there are these kind of douchebags on this here server.
There were just three Nomads there. Three.
So I ask. Is it possible to implement rule 1.2?
Quote:1.2 Server administrators will impose sanctions on players for violating server rules and for any actions that harm server gameplay.
Proof of server rules violations include screenshots, videos, evidence of players and administrators themselves. False evidence is prohibited and will be punished with at least 1 month ban.
I'd say for these kind of extreme cases it should definitely be applicable. However, I'm not the one who can decide on such matters. So I'd like to hear from the admins. Please please?
I'm really disappointed when I see such things, and when I hear a "Oh well we're used to it." from the victims even. Everyone's so used to getting ganked. Where's things coming to?
Note: Yeah. I know I'm dramatizing. Yeah I know it's just another rant. But I feel it needs to be said. And asked. And if possible solved.

I don't care if it's indies or not. I wasn't aiming to undermine any player group, as I am both those player groups.
And I don't care if it's just big ships.
What I am asking if rule 1.2, which I quoted up there, can be applied to extreme cases of ganking. Of say over 5:1.
The real extremes. Like a Battleship on a light fighter. That kind of thing.

Speaking for the Keepers, sure this kind of thing is annoying. But not 10 minutes ago we decimated a capital fleet (semi lolcaps) in Iota. Applying the rules isn't always nescecary, but in the cases of ; 'LOL! SPECIAL CHARACTER! (be it SCRA, phantoms, keepers) LETS SHOOT IT WITH 1289 CAPS!' without any trace of RP, I'd say yes.

That actually makes sense.

Don't tell anyone, but the Hunters have actually helped the Keepers kill a Corsair or two before. Of course, it wasn't intentional. The Corsairs decided to fire on us and we fired back, then for whatever reason the Keepers had they switched agendas from us to them and fired on it too. Or something like that.
