Battlegroup Stormpike conducted a raid through Tau sectors to Kyushu today.

Resistance was strong and SFFG Hand of Mist took some damage before the Kusari defenses were penetrated.

SFBS Repulse and SFFG Hand of Mist both broke through the Kusari lines. The Kusari looked disorganised once their defenses were penetrated although reinforcements arrived fairly quickly and proved formidable.

Fortunately, with surprise on our side, SFFG Hand of Mist carried out a successful boarding operation on Nansei Research Complex while SFBS Repulse suppressed the defenses.

Extracted data looks encrypted but was delivered to Leeds intact by Repulse.

The Royal Marines had a hard fight to get the data, so let's hope the effort was worth it.

The station appears to be gathering data on the solar activity in Kyushu. Perhaps any data collected could be put to good use in a future offensive if required.

Sounds mutually benefitcial. What arms are we talking here? Ship weapons could be made available as well as cargo related items such as small arms. Of course under certain limitations to prevent resale to less hospitable groups.
