yes but seems when you go away for 1 day then come back it crashes skype when you open it

and yes it does crash with channels which get spammed, however, getting kicked and readded to the chats solves such issues. Plus, it's a more specific environment.

I feel sorry for the hosts, 50 people asking to be kicked and re-added does not sound fun.

What chat are you in then? And also, i had 2000 Messages to load in the GRN Chat. And Skype didnt even freeze.

Not everyone likes to run skype. It eats a big portion of your CPU if on a old computer.

Plus, message logs are troublesome... Gotta keep flushing the history

My PC is quite old. I have no problems with Skype. And better Skype then a new FireFox Window >.>

"Beside you" as we said. EVERYONE ELSE prefers a fast live messaging system with no prior download.

I prefer a chat messageing system that you don't have to
refresh manually to see what other people have posted.

I don't mind the extra firefox window, but Firefox itself can
eat up lots of memory if you haven't set it so.

Sorry. The interface feels clunky compared to other things.
IRC, MSN, Xfire, even Skype, in all it's resource hogginess works better.

IMHO.
