They all look the same to me. The file name was "Revolution" and I thought that was the name of your bomber.

I'd rather the Orchid be put back to slower agility but get the superbomber powerplant (Barghest plant). The infocard itself says it's meant to sacrifice speed and agility for armor and firepower.. It doesn't have the firepower with the smallest bomber plant, and it has the lowest bomber armor with the exception of the FA Bomber (which is so screwed up balance wise it's not really worth mentioning..).
Give it Barghest agility, Barghest armor, and Barghest power and I'd be happy. It's already got the size. Giving it that extra CD slot would be nice, but if it were changed into the Kusari version of the Bargh I'd say it isn't needed. If it stays as it is, I'd say giving it that extra CD slot is a good idea, considering it's the worst Kusari bomber..
Probably just bias speaking but I'd prefer not to see too many Super Heavy Bombers. The Barghest is unique, the Fafnir is unique, and the Waran is slightly unique. Plus it's very uncharacteristic of Kusarians to make a heavy fighter ship.
But if you're interested in a Barghest then maybe we can strike a deal... I'm interested in getting an Orchid for my Rogue. Maybe we can strike a trade?

xD
Yes, you give him 3 Torp Slots along with his wet-dream bomber stats and you in return get a Orchid Bomber for you character.
Discovery balancing at its best.
I don't really like the Falcata, it's neither fast or have heavy powerplant for its rather large profile. Could you give me an extra torp slot and Barghest Superbomber powerplant to it please? I can give you a Falcata to your Corsair character if you want too.
Dab just because you want it to be super heavy bomber dosen't mean its gonna happen. The first thing one must look to a Bomber is to which faction it belongs and then which house. Kusari house follow the line of fast, agile bombers.
The Orchid is a fast, agile bomber. 1 = 1
((Side Note: Not really quite understanding what you mean with an extra CD slot, but I assume you mean you can carry one CD along with two torp slots. Not the standard-bomber-setup which to my knowledge is only 2x Torp Slots. If you meant two torp slots or whatever, I'm quite confused.))

This is one of those things that is up to individual skill. How well you can use your bomber to your advantage. I have also flown the Orchid, and if you use its swift agility to your advantage, then you are a monster to Fighters, and Bombers too. You can charge at them before they even get the chance to E-kill around you. But, I guess you have a problem using it, so it must be bad right?

Like the standard rheinland bomber.
2 torp slots, 1 cd slot. Average powerplant - large powerplant. Im not suggesting it needs the extra powerplant, but the extra slot would make it nice.

Bombers who have 2 Torp Slots and 1 CD Slot:
Fafnir (Superbomber)
Barghest (Superbomber)
Feel free to add more if I forgotten any bomber.
Does the Orchid Bomber fall under the Superbomber category and thus shall receive an extra torp slot? Psh. Get outta here, then the Falcata is a much better candidate. Or the Waran for that matter, which is a Superbomber but dosen't have a third CD slot.
Quote:Price: 6263130 - C7-F "Orchid" Golden Chrysanthemum Bomber
The Orchid is the Golden Chrysanthemum's design, to rival the Blood Dragon bomber. The Blood Dragons assisted in her development, but the Chrysanthemums had a different set of specifications in mind. They wanted something that could rival military bombers, sacrificing some agility and speed for firepower and armour. The women that drive her wanted something that could deal a nasty blow, and were willing to sacrifice some, but not all, of the maneuverability of the Blood Dragon bomber, and as design progressed, it drifted more and more from its cousin ship. Ultimately, the final prototype of the Orchid resembled a Kusari Naval Forces ship, in both form and function.
Please correct my english, but if I'm not mistaken, the word "some" does not constitute a rather large change. Such as, oh I don't know, a Light Bomber becoming a Super Bomber?

I've been after an Orchid for my LR since before 4.85 was released... just haven't taken any steps towards getting it yet cause I don't really need it. And I was talking about trading an actual Barghests, not it's stats, it looks like you misunderstood that. I don't have any power to offer a trade like that...
As for the Falcata, I would actually call it the best bomber in Discovery, but that would be my biased.
Waran is also a Super Bomber, shares the same power plant as a Barghest but only has two torpedo slots if I recall right.

Sorry, was going by the wiki which says that the snubnose has a CD... and 2 torps.
So, I was thinking about the new GC ship in 86, and was wondering if people thought that perhaps what the GC really need is a good Light Fighter? It would fit their role a bit more, and just look at what they're faced with:
Farmer Alliance "Mamoru" Bomber.
The KNF, whom usually patrol in VHF or HFs most of the time.
And the random indy pirate who comes in his bomber.
I think Light Fighters are underappreciated. and if the GC get a new ship I think they should have perhaps the best LF in the game, or at least a top tier one.
"The thirteen saloons that had lined the one street of Seney had not left a trace. The foundations of the Mansion House hotel stuck up above the ground. The stone was chipped and split by the fire. It was all that was left of the town of Seney. Even the surface had been burned off the ground.
Nick looked at the burned-over stretch of hillside, where he had expected to find the scattered houses of the town and then walked down the railroad track to the bridge over the river. The river was there."
Guess what? LFs suck at everything. Until we figure out what exactly it is we want to do with LFs, they're going to be purely RP ships with no real value in PvP.
