I am trying ultimatly to get to the Champagne system from the Kyushu system, but i'm stopped by minefields. The pathway to Champagne by either through Omicron Alpha, or through Orkney, but as i say, minefields prevent me from going any further.
In Omicron Alpha, the Omicron80 Jump Hole to the Lorraine system is located in the middle of a minefield, and in Orkney, the languedoc Jump Hole to the Dauphine system, is located in the middle of a minefield. In both instances i can see plenty of other craft going through the minefield, of course they don't get far.
There appears to be no safe passage to the Champagne system. Any help would really be appreciated.

To get through the one in Orkney, just go to the Council base and then fly straight towards the minefield, there is a big opening that you can fly through to get to the jump hole. As far as "safe" passage to the Champagne system, I don't think there is any unless you are allied with the Gallic Royal Navy/Police.

The route through Orkney is fairly simple with a large hole in the minefield that is easy to navigate. Once into Languedoc you can avoid the jumpgates if you are not friendly with the Gallic nationals by using jump holes (yes they are out there and yes you'll have to find them yourself:P).
The minefield in Lorraine is much more treacherous, but if you come through from Omicron 80 and then slowly work your way through the mines you'll find that there is a marker on the outside of the field to guide you back from the outside. It also helps to note the position of the marker relative to the nearby guard station in order to find the opening again.
And it is SERIOUSLY OORP for a sirian to be Green with gallic lawfuls. YOu see, Gallic Lawful puts lotta holes in all SIrians. So please, Dont DO that just to dock on a Gallic BS when the GRN PC,s come in
