Yeh kept my libby yey although it may have gone a lil rusty after a month and a half of not using it i think i'll get myself a brand new one and fund it myself.
Well, I daresay New York has become safer since I was given the job, but then again, maybe its all just gotten to my head.
Early on, I was called out of West Point to deal with some annoyances, namely a pack of pirates with a rather mad notion that they were going to charge both me and an attempting embargo breaker 4 million credits. I engaged them when they opened fire on the trader, and succeeded in SNAC-ing one of them and lightly damaging the gunboat. Sadly, I was quickly brought down from their missile spam, not from the gunboat, but from the fighters.
Later I was in New York and the fiendish Alexi_Stukov came through again, this time in a Mastadon, and without registration [ID], which left me confused for a moment. As always, he tried to escape me in any way he could, but this time I managed to keep him isolated long enough to shoot him down after he refused, once again, to pay his fine.
I daresay he is now attempting to hide behind Universal or some such nonsense. He now has reached 12.5 million credits in fines from smuggling cardamine and artifacts, assault, evasion, and resist of arrest, and that's only what I've caught him doing.
Never accept a trade request from him, since he only will attempt to distract you with 10 credits while he makes a run for it. I had a Universal gent pick up the boron he was hauling and sell it elsewhere.
After that affair, I was asked by DSS-Remus to keep an eye out for a Saric Krass, last seen flying a Gull Transport. He is said to be owing DSS 4 million in funds and a few other things as well. He is wanted alive by them. I said I'd be willing to assist in spite of the injury they unjustly dealt me a little while back, so long as they had something to offer the LPI in return.
He offered a hand in their business and membership as well. Methinks we may have found a means of paying our officers, if we push them a bit about it.
As we were talking, a Junker came into my long-range scanners, named Shadowjman[T]. Due to his suspicious flight pattern, I ran upward quickly to halt him, which I did. He was carrying a loadful of Cardamine, unfortunately, and taking advantage of my initiation of my comms, he made a mad dash for the Mooring. Evidence of his holdful of contraband is available on request.
After the smuggler docked, I stepped away from my console to check some other things on the neural net when a person named BMM-HUNTER shot me down for no knowable reason. Something must have ticked him off. I saw the smuggler undock from Manhattan and escape shortly after I jettisoned.
As I drifted in my pod to the hard surface of Manhattan once again, I heard said HUNTER person blathering about having several rookie police officers in his hold and wanting money for them. Had I not suffered another back injury upon my pod hitting Manhattan, I would have assuredly hijacked Lindberg's Roc and made that half-witted criminal eat his words.
Medical said I'll be fine, but told me not to do so much paperwork. Don't really make sense, but I'm not a doctor and know only a bit about their profession so I guess they must have had a reason.
Deveron Kerry, signing off.

So today, pretty simple day. At the begining of my shift I, with two LSF agents and one Navy officer, intercept an outcast named Davelister. We chased him on about 5Ks before he stopped. I mentioned him his rights (Or if you prefer, that he has none and he will be terminated right now.) and told the LSF agents to do whatever they want with him. He immediatly fled and was followed by us four. In the process, he spammed Screamer class mines, I got hit by one but it only lightly damaged my ship. I abandoned pursuit when the criminal entered the Badlands.
During the rest of my shift, I patroled the New York system and the Colorado system with a recruit of which I forgot the name. Still, nothing worth mention was seen during that patrol.
On my first patrol back i decided to do a few loops of NY and spotted a rouge i told him to halt and when doing so he opened fire. Luckily the Navy gunboat Violentblade was there and helped me destroy the offender.
The both of us went on patrol when we heard a xeno attacking detroit. We went to the scene and found out it was a destroyer. I and the Violent blade, while trying to take it out, were offered assistance by a freelancer named Heidi snow and with our combined forces destroyed the destroyer (ironic or what!) and managed to save the LPI officers the destroyer had held captive.
Riza Williams walked into the break room of the Station House, walking over to Officer Amy McTavish, stopping in front of her and staring into her eyes for a moment, a stern, serious look on her face. Riza stood there silently staring at Amy for the longest time, until finally her serious expression cracked into a wide grin and she began to laugh, patting Amy on the shoulder, stepping back and reaching into her own jacket pocket, she pulled out two small Sergeant Stripe pins, undoing the back to one of the pins and placing it on the right side of Amy's uniform collar, redoing the back of the pin, she then pinned the other insignia to the right side of Amy's collar, stepping back and giving a brief salute to Amy.
"Missy, I don't know how you did it, but you got our damn mechanics off their arses real quick and got them workin' on that beauty that'll hopefully soon be ours! and for that, You've earned this promotion to Sergeant, I've also heard rumors that you'd like to help out with my little experiment, The Rescue And Assistance Branch, and I want you to know, you're more than welcome, Congratulations on the promotion, Sergeant McTavish, I think you'll go far with us and I look forward to having you in the Rescue And Assistance Branch."
Riza shot her another quick smile and a nod before doing an "About Face" (180 degree turn from standing at attention) and walking out of the break room.
Lauren stumbles into the break room from the Hangar door with a extremely damaged Havoc being seen wheeled away to be fixed. Lauren looks around for a bottle of water and falls onto the nearest empty couch.
I'm tired and hungry, and now I gotta write a report. I would prefer facing a fully armed Battleship.
Lauren yawns and falls asleep ........................
She wakes about 3 hours later to Bauer trying to sneak some donuts that are beside her
Oi!, What time is it ....Ahhh, Screw it better file my report ...Then again it ain't like I get paid
Bauer just stares and munches on a glazed doughnut. Lauren heads off to her office to file her days patrol activity
My first day back seemed to be an eventful one. After first undocking my extremely dusty Havoc out of Manhattan I was immediately called to aid an engaged about 10k from Trenton outpost which ended with the enemies fleeing, I then patrolled for about 20 minutes before being called to Pennsylvania Jump Gate and running head first into a smuggler who tried to bribe me and stall me till his protection showed which happened to be this cartel everyone is talking about, After 20 minutes of fighting I delivered a neat SNAC to his annoying sabre ending it's joyful career.
After another 50 minutes of nothing I head back to Manhattan to find three pirates waiting 15k out from Manhattan in Fort Bush direction after seeing me on scanners they engaged immediately and after 15 seconds of dodging LNS-Thunderbolt arrived and the tides turned in my favour with the hostiles going down like flies.
After this hostiles went down in quick succession. This was one hell of a first day back.
Ohh also a smuggler under the name SpeedTripple if ever caught smuggling again will cop a 4 million credit fine no matter how much contraband he is carrying

Unlike me, I'm pro at making it look like I actually have an opinion on the topic.
Except in this post.
I'm feeling rebellious.
It has become apparent that an extra ordinary number of unlawful gunboats have appeared in Liberty. They seem to have a appetite for Patriots and Liberators.
So, Until further Notice, The LPI is Declaring a Crime Emergency. SWAT officers may Patrol their beats in their SWAT vehicles instead of the Liberators.
Those officers of the rank Regular officer and above who aren't SWAT qualified may apply and if accepted, immediately outfit their SWAT vehicles.
Swat Vehicles are:
Eagle for the Fighter
ROC or havoc for a bomber
