1999 RTS that is now open source and thus free to play. Multiplayer is sick! There aren't any unit limits, only the limits of how much you can manage at once. 400+ tech tree. Customizable unit design; mix and match weapons, chassis, and propulsions. Advanced weapon effectiveness system, promoting versatility and smart tactics. Check out the screenshots on the website!!!
You should check out the website though... it's a resurrection project, they obtained the source code, and the graphics/textures are updated. You can play in huge res!
Once I saw it on moddb from friend linking it on TS I downloaded it and gave it a try.
Quite intresting. I like how you can design your own machines of war from VTOLs to tanks to hovercrafts. Prehaps we can get some games going with DGC members only sometime.
This game was fun years ago but like most other games the replay value just isn't there.
If one hasn't played the game I would recommend giving it a try though.
Got this back on CD at its first releace. Thought it was great back then building my own tanks and such. Its still pretty slick.

Downloaded it, its quite a good RTS, I had no idea I could name my units and was stuck with machinegun viper wheels etc. for names ^^ Haven't played since I got hammered in the mission which first sees use of the big white and orange walls ^^ Was messing with Mortars, and ran out of time.
