And about being immature... we are playing a space ship game. We come here to be immature. You can ask the question 'how can we help admins' question over and over. And Ill tell you over and over, until you listen.

i know the definition of xenophobic. It means your afraid of aliens.

No, that is enough! This thread has been hijacked.

Why is it whenever I make a topic with good intentions it spirals into an argument, and not a banter or debate?

Huh? You spout... wait no... I am not going to.

I unofficially close this topic.:(

Its not because you posted it. It happens to every string.

I posted something about the topic, people start posting stuff off topic about what I posted, I reply to the what they posted..

Ok Ill explain it realy slowly.

The reason I used the word dick, its because:
It was used repeatedly by admins themselves and people who are... lets say... close to the admins, to say how terrible some people are in contrast to themselves, the people who used that word.

The first time I saw it used on the forum was as 'reason for being banned: being a dick' in a sanction notice, written by admin cannon. It was often quoated as rule 0.0 by admins after that.

I wrote that sentence to say, using irony: dear admins, in order to help yourselves, check yourselves if you arent expecting people to behave in a different way than you would behave yourself. In other words... use common sense. Because many times, I have seen admins behave exactly the way they asked other people not to behave.

Fix'd.

Honestly though, the best way to help the admin team is to play appropriately yourself and give a good example for others to follow. After all, there are apparently some who will do whatever others do, as has been admitted in this thread. <.<

Admins do use common sense - I would like to say, a good majority of the time. Being an admin, and thus being pricy to the discussions we have, I would say that i can't recall a whole lot of anything else but common sense.

How can we be helped?

Several things spring to mind:

1) Stop rules lawyering in game - Just... stop.

2) Try to be a little more respectful, of everyone, respect begets respect.

3) Read the rules.

4) Speak English.

5) If you are going to post a sanction, please do so with evidence.

6) Do not use the Admins as a referee in personal differences.

7) Stop wasting time on the forums and go in game.

8) Don't open threads on the forums that are for the purpose of trial/flame only.

9) Understand and accept that this is not a democracy, this is not a place governed by a constitution and a court of law - We will sometimes make decisions that are unpopular and seem to fly in the face of a "majority"- and understand that we do so because we believe its in the best interests of the server. Understand also, that we can change our minds, admit fault and undo a decision that turns out to be a bad one.

10) Also understand, we are human - we do this because we love the place, and we don't get paid.

11) Be excellent to one another.

All i can think of now:).
