It has been a long day, and it has not finished yet.
Firstly, a couple of outcasts ships were causing troubles in Kyushu, one Farmer was taking care of them [AFA]Grower's.Pride, who destroyed the transport that they were using to assault traders.
I didn't make in time to help the Farmer, by the time I arrived the place the Sabre and the Falcata already took him dowm. I ordered those ships to stand down, and ordered them to release the naval pilots they were holding, aftter they complied, I gave them once chance to leave Kusari, and I escorted them out.
In the way to the jump hole, they kept talking about how they took care of one of our samurais. After hearing that, I got not choise but, put them down. I could be flying my Wyrm, but it's deadly against anything smaller than a gunboat. I put the bomber down, and the fighter ran away to Tau-23. I went to rest at the Nagumo after that.
Later, another group of outcasts, with the same description as the above, came to Kyushu, me, Daii Kojiro, Daii Yakuyo, and the Samurai Jingasa went there to put an end to it. However, we made them run again to the Tau 23 system.
I took the chance to patrol the Hokkaido system with Kojiro and Yakuyo, leading them with the Bakumatsu. For a while it was quiet, but a samura ship called me to Shinjuku, as apparently there were a mercenary working against the hogosha. I went there, but it was a false alarm.
On my way back to Hokkaido, I intercepted a group of Mandalorians, they threated my ship and my crew, calling the Bakumatsu a "big paycheck". They didn't think on it a lot, as they engaged me. As quick as they fired on me, one of them went down for the power of Bakumatsu's missiles, it was a Super Heavy Fighter equiped with a Supernova, luckyly, it didn't get to hurt the Bakumatsu. Moments after that, their bomber faced a Razor, and he ejected.
The final ship was a Sabre, which I left to Kojiro and Yakuyo to deal with. Unfourtanely it was a skillful pilot, and Kojiro's bomber didn't make it. I put an end to the fight, and ordered the Mandalorian to take their pals and leave the system. I took Kojiro's pod, and with Yakuyo we went to the Matsumoto where Kojiro was moved to the nursing, hopefuly his injures are not bad.
There have been several incidences of Outcasts moving deep into Kusari space. On a number of occasions it was only a single pirate who fled when I and other KNF or KSP warriors pursued them. However I did receive reports of a rather more bold Outcast flying a Trident Gunship in the Tau systems. The pirate was identified as Susa.ibn.Sina. Arriving on the scene in the Kawakaze the pirate had already fled the area, either being tipped off of my arrival or simply moving on to pick on other targets. Unable to locate the pirate I returned to normal patrols for a time.
A short while later I received a distress call from a GMG pilot in Honshu near the Sigma 13 jump gate, the pilot was under fire from this same Outcast gunship. I immediately headed to assist but was worried I'd be too late as I was currently patroling in Kyushu.
Fortunatley I arrived on the scene before the damaged GMG fighter was destroyed. A second GMG pilot had also arrived on the scene flying what was possibly a Roc class bomber. Though my ship failed to record the specifications of the ship. Both GMG vessels had their shields down with one of them sustaining hull damage. Initially only monitoring the situation they requested that I assist and seeing the damage they were sustaining I engaged the gunship. The battle raged for some time and while the pilot was clearly skilled he/she was ultimately unable to prevail. The gunship was destroyed but the pilot must have ejected in advance and managed to slip away unnoticed, which we did not realize until scanning the debris.
We have an emergency situation yesterday in Kyushu. A group of Zoners contacted us about a Outcast Battleship around the Taus, that they've been chasing for a while. Aparently this Battleship had no crew, and was commanded by a software. Who is behind that software, and who programed it is beyond our information. Callsign: Prometheus[Harvester24], Class: Outcast Dreadnought, attitude: Hostile.
The zoners informed us that this battleship was very powerful and it had managed to escape from their forces from Tau-31 and Tau-23. The Emperor, against his wishes, allowed the Zoners to bring a Warship to Kusari space, to search for this battleship. The Emperor also mobilized the Imperial Guard's Destroyers to perform the searching.
With the Imperial Guards blocking the New Tokyo jump gate, and watching the New Tokyo and Shikoku jump holes, and the Tau-23 jump hole. I ordered the Bakumatsu to guard the Tau-29 jump gate, and also sent a bomber to scout the Hokkaido jump hole. We got all the exits covered, however, if this battleship had tried to jump in any of the jump points, I don't think it'd not have made any difference to have it guarded or not, as our ships weren't capable of handle it alone, and it would have meant the lose of the Guardian ship.
The AFA came to assist us, they were sent to patrol the trade lanes, and also a couple of ships were sent to search for it above and below plane.
Although, the Prometheus didn't attempt to cross through any jump. The Zoner Battleship, callsign "Syros", found the Prometheus 35 clicks above the Tau-23 jump hole. One by one, we mobilized the fleet over there.
The Imperial Guard destroyer, callsign "Kanrin Maru", began communications with the Prometheus. However, the ship refused any kind of communication, and we only got statics from it.
After several minutes of efforts to get into Prometheus's Program, a Zoner from the TAZ association, by the name of "Avenging Angel" engaged the main program, and the exchange of information began.
The "Angel" tried to hack its program, to get it out of Kusari, I truly believe his intentions were to take possesion of this ship. Gladly or not, he failed to accomplish that. The Zoner left the area after his failure.
We proceed to use force, with the hope that it will start any emergency system that the Prometheus could have. We found out, that the Prometheus was holding 14 Naval pilots, which we rescued from its cargo hold.
Our scanners were getting a source of energy growing in the back of the ship, which indicated that it was trying to engage its cruise engines, which, it did. The whole fleet pursued it, and we got to stop it after flying 20 clicks to the Hokkaido jump hole. As soon as we stopped it, the entire fleet opened fire onto it.
It didn't last more than a few seconds against such a power. The remaining rests were to be scouted and all the data was sent to analize in our labs.
Apart from the result, it was a great demonstration of our power, and our fleet capacity, even when it was our whole fleet. I, as one of the commanders leading the fleet, couldn't be more proud of our acts.
There is a camshot from the moment of its explosion.
Our last mission made a breach in Bretonia's defenses, the fighters squadrons cleaned the way to the LD-14. The York's patrols are out of range, and we got a chance to introduce a heavy ship near to the station. Our missions is to destroy any capital ship in our way to the LD-14, we are not going to count with the Katana Wing this time.
BRIEFING:
The destroyer Bakumatsu is leading the mission, a group of five very heavy fighters, chimaeras, are with it. Flying from Stokes Mining Station, 20 clicks above plane, to the LD-14, our mission is to destroy any Bretonia capital ship that we might spot. It is possible that our enemy is sending heavy support to the area, we expect several bombers and templars to be in our way.
We will not count with gunboat support, as they are fighting in the Leeds's front. We count on the Bakumatsu to handle with any capital ship, gunboat class or higher, and we count on the fighter squadron to take on any bomber and fighter which appear in our way.
STATUS:
ACCOMPLISHED
RESUME:
The company departed from Stokes at 1900 STM. It was conformed of the Kusari Destroyer [KNF]Bakumatsu, commanded by Chusa Hajime Hiroito. The fighters, chimaera class, commanded by the KNF pilots Shōi Fumio Takashi, Daii Uzo Yakuyo, the samurais Faythe Yamasaki, Jingasa and Genji Takiya. We counted with the assistance from a farmer pilot, Masamune Wakizashi.
We found minimal resistance in the begining. In the union of sectors E3, E4, D3 and D4, our scanners picked up a strong signal from below us. A small fleet from the BAF elite squadron was coming our way. The scanners showed a destroyer class ship within them, and a total of 4 Templar fighters.
Following the orders, the fighter squadron engaged the Templars, and the Bakumatsu opened fire over the BAF|HMS-Hammer Bretonia Destroyer. After a strong and close fight, the Bakumatsu beat his bretonian counterpart, and continued his way to the LD-14. Meanwhile, the fighter squadron was having a match against the bretonians. The Bakumatsu found two destroyers, of lower level than the Hammer, at 10 clicks from the LD-14, they were destroyed by him.
However, the fighter squadron was losing ships, when the Bakumatsu was retreating to Stokes, it was a three versus two fight, in our favor. But suddenly, from no where, a Bretonian gunboat appeared and took down one of our fighters by surprise. The Bakumatsu engaged it, and destroyed it quickly.
After a long fight, the fighter squadron was defeated, the escape pods were picked up by the Bakumatsu and the pilots returned to Stokes for medical treatment.
Here some pictures from the battle. Hammer's destruction, picture 1. Hammer's destruction, picture 2. Hammer's destruction, picture 3. Bretonia Gunboat
MISCELLANEOUS:
On its way back to Kyushu, the Bakumatsu was engaged by two Blood Dragon bombers. Defending Kusari's honor, it took them down in a quick maneuver. Blood Dragon Bomber 1. Blood Dragon Bomber 2.

After received several reports of cargo vessels ignoring the on going embargo toward the Tau Sector and seeing I was around Kyushu Planet for other bussness,
I took the chance to lift the Sokaku for a some blockade of the west border.
My attention was drawed on my long range scanners first when they spotted a group of [*USI*] ships, previously unknown to me.
While investigating I was not able to triangulate their exact position and eventually lost contact in Tau-23 after a while, their last known position.
I will probably query the neural net for further informations.
During my attempts to triangulate my orginal target location,
another group of ships previously unknown to me appeared from the lane coming from Tsushima cruising to the next ring.
They were all showing mercenaries transponders with [DM] prefixes added to that.
Again, I will probably query the neural net for further informations. They were clear anyway at the moment of the scan.
I then proceeded to the blockade location and started guarding the lane going to Tsuhima to Tau-29 Gate.
I had to disrupt it several times as well as some engines of those a little hard of ears, but the blockade went out without particular incidents.
Two [SPB] tranports, Dominator and Pidersiya found unlicensed, were turned back after learning their intended destination was Liberty through Shikoku...
A private transport, of which I miss recordings, was informed on the situation and turned back.
I landed the Sokaku at Kyushu as usual, no damages to report.
Patroling in New Tokyo, we got a distress call from Shikoku, where three Consortium ships were attacking traders coming from Galileo and Kepler. I drove the Sakabatou to their position, luckyly I counted with the assistance from a Hogosha pilot to contain the situation.
We found them between planet Junyo and Deshima station, in the spirit of avoid unnecessary deaths, I tried to work a way out of the problem without firing. But, these consortium's members didn't want the easy way.
They started firing on us, and we defended ourselves and the people of kusari. We took down the Prison liner first, then the trasnport and finally the heavy fighter.
The patrols in Hiroshima contacted me about a transport breaking into our defenses. Apparently, the ship managed to fool our defense systems, and the weapon platforms showed zero activity. Quickly, I went to intercept this transport, which I found using the Honshu jump hole. After a few question, I realised that he didn't know that it was a restricted military system, apparently he was carrying some medical goods that needed to be delivered fast to the Zoners in the omicrons. I saw the truth on his words, so I chose to let him go, no before he payed the proper fine for breaking into a restricted system.
If this pilot break into Hiroshima again, there is not other choise but to destroy his ship and arrest him, if he refuses the arrest, there is not other choise but death penalty.

BRETONIA WAR MISSION SUMMARY
LD-14
SITUATION:
Carry with the besiege on the LD-14, it's needed to keep the way clean of possible interceptors that the bretonians could send. Our mission is to patrol the lane to the LD-14, and destroy any bretonia squadron that we find.
BRIEFING:
A fighter squadron leaded by Chusa Hiroito is to be deployed from the Stokes facility to the LD-14. The squadron is conformed by Shōi Takashi, and the samurais Faythe Yamasaki and Nori Tsuyoshi. We do not count with Gunboat support or destroyers.
STATUS:
ACCOMPLISHED
RESUME:
The squadron left Stokes at 22:15 SMT, with direction to the LD-14. Outside the Stokes a gaian bomber, Aoyagi Ritsuka, joined the squadron providing bomber support in case that a gunboat appeared.
Several hostiles were detected in the sector D4, 25 clicks above plane. Six bretonia fighters were counted, all from the BAF elite fleet. After half hour of fighting the enemy, we took the upper hand on the fight. Four of their fighters went down, and the gaian and our shōi lost their ships. Lieutenant Commander Goodmen offered to be captured in exchange of letting Captain Hobart go. It seems that the captain didn't like that offer, and he pulled out Goodmen from the fight, dragging our attention to himself. Soon as Goodmen left the area, Hobart surrended his ship, and he was captured by our forces.
We finished the patrol without any further incident, and we returned to the battleship Nagasaki, where Hobart was put in heavy custody.
MISCELLANEOUS:
We are going to transfer captain Hobart to our facilities in Kusari. The Bakamatsu will depart soon with the prisoner, we request fighter escort for this purpose.

As our intelligence services told us, the Bretonia Armed Forces attempted a rescue of the prisoner held captive on board the Bakumatsu, during his transfer to Fuchu Prison.
However we foresee that operation coming from their side and the prisoner being moved was not Hobart (currently still in Leeds) nor Taylor (currently at Fuchu Prison)
but rather some low rank officer of minor strategical importance captured few days ago, to expose their plans and test our readyness.
Due to increased security protocols during war times I was forced to keep silence on many details and I apologize to all warriors for that, it created some confusion.
Suprisingly Bakumatsu' cruise engines and computerized targeting systems were sabotaged and at the first sign of trouble they collapsed, requiring several hours of repairs.
Techincians reports shows it was a very good work, whoever did it, he was well aware of what to do with every single component.
It is not know if the sabotage happened while near Stokes Station or by someone still onboard, investigations are still in process.
Troubles came indeed very soon.
I was expecting an ambush at the lane near 31/Dundee jumphole but it happened right after departure from Stokes, while en route to the Nagasaki.
Apparently, probably due to the last-minute nature of the operation, the Bretonia Armed Forces wing that intercepted us was lacking the appropriate ordinance
to withstand a destroyer class vessel and its escort team.
Even with no cruise engines and reduced hit chance the Bakumatsu proved to be a hard target and when a good part of our escort wing was disabled
it eventually managed to take down two of the remaining enemy fighters and the rest fled tractoring in escape pods, leading to partial success of this operation.
We still have to figure out how our security grid was violated.

...Subject: Exchange of prisoners in Coronado, Hobart returns home
This time Coronado was selected as the place of the exchange.
After having received clearance from the Temporary Autonomous Zoners for safe passage through Baffin of a small wing of fighters we assambled near Battleship Yamaguchi.
Due to technical troubles (event started very late) we weren't able to meet the Zoner vessel lifted to wave us through, however,
our route didn't involved any in-system installation and our weapon systems were disabled. Our scanners didn't picked up any contacts while in Baffin.
While approaching given coordinates inside the cloud/asteroid field our sensors, forced to work on very small scan ranges due to natural interferences,
were picking up intermitting Privateers transponders signals confirming our thoughts of a trap.
Once arrived, our wing was standing in front of our enemies and I opened my communication system but they apparently weren't interesting in talks,
with the exception of the usual amount of taunts from the Privateers coming in from somewhere nearby...
The ship with our prisoner on board started to move toward us and I moved mine.
The echange took place without troubles but when I was in the process of returing to our ranks a Privateer vessel came out of nowhere and dropped a mine on me,
turning my shields to near 0%. I started evasive maneuvers and ordered our ranks to fire on the Privateer offender and the Bretonia Armed Forces engaged us.
The battle ensued for some time, probably an hour.
Casualties happened on both sides but we were forced to retreat in order to save escape pods and the rescued prisoner when the numbers were few and against us.
We weren't persued but after jumping to Tau-29 from Baffin we came across an XTF Outcast vessel who attempted to claim the system as 'his' space and
obiviously refusing to leave.
At this point Genji engaged him and I let the duel take place, however when another XTF vessel was approaching I called the retreat again as my ship wasn't in good conditions for another fight and I also had all escape pods and the rescued prisoner on board.
While moving away I noticed that Genji stood there to give me the time to flee attracting their attention and I was preparing some hit&run maneuver at safe distance to eventually pick up his pod but it wasn't necessary...he disabled both XTF vessels. Kampai!

today I received intel that a Dragon was pirating in New Tokyo. I hopped in my Chimera and set out to find him. after a few rounds through the system I found him. he was just pirating 2 trade vessels. I told him in no unclear words to cease and desist. he opened fire on the largest trade ship that made a run for it after I arrived. I told him that I would fire on him if he didn`t cease his attack. he didn`t so I went in, weapons hot.
we were exchanging shots when suddenly a Preafact cruiser bearing an Order id appeared.
without a word, it started blasting at the Dragon, nearly hitting me on more than 1 occasion. I told the cruiser to stand down and leave Kusari space. its captain mush have had wasabi in his ears: he continued the engagement.
the Dragon tried to converse with the cruiser but was shot down by a battlerazor in a cowardly fashion.
this cruiser, the "Gemini" should be shot on sight next time. he violated Kusari space, ignored instructions from a KNF officer and endangered said officer multiple times.
