This is the sum total of most forum debates we've tried to have about this ship line. Thanks for the input. Maybe we could have a poll and include all of these options?
Incidentally the thread was about the bigger end of the scale - the Destroyers and upwards.
That should cover it I think. And if you substitute BHG and/or Order/Outcasts with other factions, and caps ships with weapons or bombers/VHF's I think it is safe to say that the list above has been applied to any number of Discovery Mod versions prior to 4.85, and will be equally applied to any number of Discovery Mod versions starting from 4.86 and onwards.
But what about if the stats are left alone on the cap ships mentioned above, and the hitboxes get tuned to a more correct size ? Wouldn't that help a lot, at least for the BHBS ?

yes - it would be a good world when every ship had its perfect hitbox ( no, thats no sarcasm ) - but hitboxing is work. - work that often involves frustration and disappointments. - compared to modelling - its really work. - when you model, you see your ideas, your concept come true... when you hitbox, you mostly meddle with a lot of parameters and the light at the end of the tunnel turns out to be the tunnel being on fire.
i do not like hitboxing ... but there are tutorials out there for creating hitboxes. - many a players can try their luck - i d be VERY happy about that.
no one will ever complain when you create a hitbox that fits the warships like a glove - even if it becomes significantly harder to hit ( cause it is meant to be only hittable where you can see the ship ) - but this work needs to be done!
so - try your luck on the warships - you ll get support and assistance as you do for sure. but don t be disappointed when the hitboxes don t work the first, second, third...... hundredth time.

Yes, BHG caps got F'd up, yes, we all know it, and no, we can't do anything about it, at least while the head Dev Team "balancer" is a blind monkey that doesn't care about the balance the slightest, but rather about who he will be PvPing ingame, so he sets the stats accordingly.
For the people complaining how Cors Cruiser got sorted with BHBC: If a Cors Cruiser pilot has a brain, he will take out the BHBC without even losing shields. Actually, any, and i do mean any Cruiser or even any Gunboat can take out a BHBC without any problem in 1 on 1. Even most bombers are able to do it.
Just for the record, i got a view of the ship stats before the 4.85 was released, and i saw what was done to them. I asked Igiss to put me on the dev team so i could make sure BHG caps get a fair balance, but Igiss said it was not neccessary. By the looks of it, he was very very wrong.

So what if BH caps are weaker now?
Let me just say one thing, look at BHG member list and look at for example Order| member list... you'll see the difference in outnumbering, you can't miss it.

The amount of players deciding to Role-Play as the BHG or the Order has no whatsoever argument value in the name of balancing. It is completely irrelevant.
