Is not osiris ship only small number made?

Not really, considering that the corsairs can mass-produce them.

BHBS(~50% chance to dodge): Takes down Osiris in 108.27 seconds
Osiris(~80% chance to dodge): Takes down BHBS in 89.010 seconds

I simply disagree with this computation, in a real battle at any range while kiting, Osiris dies miserably to 14 guns of bhbs... they dodge virtualy the same. While osiris has about 10 guns to use (if bhg pilot has enough skill)...

Tested time and time and again on the testing server in laboratory conditions. The ships are balanced.

Well lets see the overlay of Osirises HB over BHBSs:



That is a REALLY small difference, so the BHBS gets stats that are WEAKER in EVERY WAY possible, except it gets 2 more guns, which, by stats of the factionised BH/Order turrets do ~6% more damage, and that again doesn't do much good since the Osiris is 10-80% better in all other stats, while being both smaller and more agile.

Yup mate, perfect balance.

Now if anyone gave a crap and made a proper hitbox for the thing, the balance would be a lot better, but the Osiris would still be a better ship.

And compare the length of both BS's and it turns out that Mako is shorter and that compensates with being bigger in your comparison.Shorter means a bit easier to turn then Osiris,and everything is balanced as Jure said. :)

Yes it is a bit shorter, but it's wider and taller because of it, and that doesn't matter because you won't be stupid enough to turn your big side to your enemy and make yourself easier to hit, will you now?

And what if you mount 14 rheinland turrets on mako?
Why are you talking like you can use only BH turrets... there are cerberus also. 14 cerberus turrets and no single osiris can survive that.
so that ~6% less demage is crap.

Ahh,well yes Tic ,but I wasn't talking about Osiris vs Mako battle in 1 on 1.
I was talking generaly about both BS's stats.
Being shorter means it can turn a bit faster then Osiris,so that makes him a bit more agile then.

About Osiris vs Mako actual battle don't know what to say,I have seen Mako with help of one battlecruiser taking down 2 Osirises,also Osiris taking down Mako while Osiris having weaker armor upgrade.so..

it is not really appreciated for BHGs to mount house weapons. - it was even expressly forbidden by liberty ( which is closest to the BHG ) some time ago.

if we discuss lore though....

the BHG battleship is an assault ship

the osiris is..... a light stealth reconnaissance ship that relies less on armour and more on cloaking. ( yes, no cloak in disco - so don t even start saying "ok, give it a cloak and reduce its armour" )

fact is... : the mako is worse. - not too much, mind. but it is worse by a little. - that wouldn t be a problem if players wouldn t start screaming "unfair" if their sole osiris was attacked by two mako.... but they do. players expect something like a 1 vs. 1 - and in a 1 vs. 1 setting that the osiris can dictate ( kiting ) - the osiris wins. - in a 1 vs. 1 where the mako can cruise up close to the osiris - they are both a fair game.
