As of 3.11.2007 Ensign Cardozo was sworn into the South Alliance. As I write this report he is training in NY system, and once complete will be placed in Texas Squadron as Lt. (jg) as Avenger pilot. Welcome Cardozo to the South Alliance.

@ Ensign Cardozo; Heads up-present opposition are HF, AW, and Helghast to name a few. They are very active in California. Texas is your homebase, but we patrol Virginia (once your tagged Lib Navy), Texas and California. This is our jurisdiction. Allies and friends are SF, F.E.A.R., sso, and LSF. Once you complete your Tag we will upgrade vessel with stronger weapons.

My first set of patrols went well for the most part. I encountered and defeated numerous rogue and Outcast vessels in the New York, Texas, and California systems. I also engaged Flame, a member of the HF Legion, in the California system. The battle was hard fought, and I was eventually forced to retreat. However, I am undetered by this defeat as it only stengthens my resolve to train harder.

Greetings,

Patrol rotation completed. Engaged in Cali the HF-Zuikaku (Albatross Frigate) and AW-Luciaden (BS) in a running battle from Mojave to Minor. Assistance was provided by SF-York (BS) and Lt. Cardozo (Fighter). Special mention goes to SF-York due to heavy damage to AW (2), with minor assitance from LNS-redBear. HF-Zuikaku suffered damage (1) from the guns of the LNS-RedBear. Lt. Cardozo showed excellent preseverance in battle and, due to such, I have promoted him to full Lt., with all rights and perks:)No serious damage suffered by our task force. Good fight all around.

Reporting for duty after extended leave. Thank you, sirs, for that. Planet Baden Baden is absolutely wonderful.

I've found the 383rd Flying Fish to be in good condition, ready for combat. We have almost completed updating our Avengers with the latest in firepower and armor upgrades...we're waiting on the Eminescu to deliver the needed parts. Paul has promised prompt delivery, so once those are in, we should be ready to roll.

I will resume patrols immediately.

For Capship Captains wondering about proper combat config of controls I have stumbled across (ooc; Thanks Koolmo) the way.

Basicly, bind the #s (or key) you wish to use to activate weapons group. Then use alt + 1, alt + 2 and so on to designate weapons to these groups once in game, ie select (make green) in weapons HUD (bottom right) the group of weapons ya want and then hit alt + 1 for 1st group and so on. I have Infernos and secondary weapons 1, razors and secondary 2, secondary for anti-fighter 3, and CD 4.
