Using it aint exactly like using 4 minis. Its like using 4 minis , taking their shot, dividing it by 100 , throw away about 30 of the shots and then shackle 1billion ton weights to every other shot. Also , reminding that you are using it on a spacebound brick wall.

I think less power usage wouldnt be out of place too. Currently theyre slightly less efficient than Flashpoints, with less speed. Only their DPS is better than flashpoints, but when you have 600m/s, you hit less.

Well if you look at Barragers, they're only one of two 8.33 guns with 600ms projectile speed. The other being the Kusari Sunfrenzy, which does about 160dps more than the Barrager and use roughly 30 energy per second more.
The Barrager needs a damage buff, no doubt about that. But I think it also needs to either get increased projectile speed, up to 700, or reduced refire rate, down to 4 or 5.88. The amount of extra damage it does should be balanced accordingly to its new refire/projectile speed.
Brilliant, so let's say 5.88 with 600 m/s what stats would then be balanced and why?

If we make them 5.88 refire and 600m/s then they're going to need around 370/185 (hull/shield) Because the only other gun in the mod with that refire/projectile speed is the Gallic Brigand guns. That will give them around 2175dps, and their energy will need to be around 100.
