Restrictions won't be happening in the near future, I'm thinking.

But neither will needless buffs.

There are some examples of 'weak' or 'broken' battleships, for example the Mako, but against bombers, the fact that you need at least two, preferably three players to down one lone player, seems a bit stupid.

And escorts do work. I've yet to be given an example that says otherwise.

you said yourself takes you 5 minutes to down a slow bomber, 10 to down a agile one. if theres 3 bombers that means each one takes 10 to down with a fighter of equivilent skill as you. Thats essencially 10 minutes of triple snac fire for the cap your escorting, even if you HAVE the same number of escorts, trinity. in order to kill a bomber fast, you need more than one escort PER bomber.

Gee trinity, so its not stupid that bombers need multiple people to kill when they are about the same size, but stupid when the battleship cant get as many escorts? Double standards are not the way to run any balancing.

Ok, let's say three bombers vs one BS.

That's three players. So two escorts. Let's say they're equal skill to me.

That's 10 minutes on two bombers.

10 minutes to wipe out the attack. They have 30 max minutes, give or take 10.

One bomber can't take down a battleship's shield regen.

Trouble is, thirty minutes is more than enough time to down most capitals, excluding perhaps the most armored.

Read what I typed, nto what you think I typed.

If two fighters take ten minutes to down two bombers, thus lowering it below the 'safe' threshold for the battleship, thirty minutes is more than enough time.

Sadly, you can't get skilled escorts much these days.

You cant get skilled bomber pilots much either, there are just ALOT of them

But it takes 2 fighters to effectively crimp a bomber. numbers DO matter in terms of eqivelents.

Two fighters gimp a bomber in ten minutes. Two fighters gimp two bombers in twenty. One bomber can't kill a battleship. Battleship can survive for thirty minutes.

What maths there do I need to explain more into?

You two need to stop bickering for a damn second. Anywho, it is really ridiculous that 3 bombers can take out a capship. I support what Blackvertigo was saying.
