For me, there was Super Mario Bros. Deluxe, Gran Turismo (Still my best), Transport Tycoon Deluxe, Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, Ratchet and Clank, Jak and Daxter: the Precursor Legacy, Rayman 2 and so many others...
Well, back when I was young, gaming was still on a floppy disk, but I honestly can't remember much of it. Cds came in when I was quite young, so I sampled the delights of:
Rally championship
Caesar 3
Starcraft
Alpha Centauri
and a huge number of ancient demos
Total annihilation
Dino crisis 2 and
zoo tycoon stand out
and of course age of mythology as i learnt quite a few spellings in that game due the the cheats
Zelda 1 and 2 on the Nes, I never did beat 2 D:
I can't remember what other nes games I had, Mario probably but I've never really like those games...
I think Age of Empires I was the first game I had on the PC. I think I was like, 10 or something before I ever started using a PC...
Command and Conquer Red Alert 2 was the first game I ever played. It got me into RTS's in general. Theres loads.
Full Spectrum Warrior is one that I'll never forget, sadly, my computer fails now and I can't install it. I'd install on my school laptop, but it would probably blow up the graphics card just trying to play it.
Rise Of Nations was an amazing game, one of the best I've ever played. I still play it today. Rise Of Legends was also fantastic.
Battlefield series...need I say more?
Freespace 2, one of the best games I've ever played in my life.
GTA series, I've played everyone of them. It was fun for a while, but you get bored of flying cars afterward.
COD series was also good, but it also got boring after a while. Same with Medal of Honour.
Ace Combat, I still play it.
Freeancer...
Dawn of War/Company of Heroes were definitely the best RTS's I have ever played. Had great fun playing it with friends and all.
And basically every other CNC game there is (other than red alert 3). I'mma CNC freak, I know everything about tiberium:)
