you make good point there, still there must be a way to start a smuggling group without having flashy name then, maybe through RP you can start that faction and come together for a big operation?? what you think?
I think the idea here is RP smuggling for the fun of it, not "power" smuggling.
In this case smaller ships are way better than big ones - even using freighters instead of transports for the runs to major planets may be the way to go. It has potential - a lot I think. Gonna be some fuuuuun:)- count me in!

You'll get FR5ed anyway. The official factions seem very FR5-happy on smugglers lately.
In fact, apparently, you don't even need to interact with an official faction in order to get FR5ed for smuggling these days--you just need a screenshot that some random freelancer took of your hold containing contraband.
I get that the smuggler ID is weak at moment, but I think kidd got most of my ideas down though not the "UPS" tag :P, like Heilor said befor tag make smugglers big target and thats the problem am trying to overcome.
My first solution is to create a pirate ID faction that make thier profit by smuggling, either by employeen smugglers.
