Just a quick PVP Rules question, and forgive me if this has been answered before. Conserning the "3 death rule." Is it 3 deaths per charater or 3 deaths per player? The rules state 3 deaths but doesn't specify. I'm assuming its up to the fighting parties to agree apon but you know what happens when you assume. Thanks for the clarification.

P.S. I'm really sorry Greylin, I was trying to stay alive long enough to come to your verbal defense but in the end it didnt matter. Hope that this sheds some light on the subject.:)

(Really, I speak terrible English, so please, tell me if I make mistakes. I'd like to improve it a bit )
I haven't checked recently, but I remmember there being an exception to the 3 kill rule when defending your home system. Is this still in practice? And what serves as one's home system? One you have payed for? Or the home system for whatever tag you are using?
There is no 3-death exception. Its three deaths regardless. If defenders had unlimited deaths, the fight would never end until attacking force simply goes and leaves. The attacking force could never actually win, as defenders can always respawn.
Home system is basically the system a faction uses as its main place. Owned systems are those you have bought. But you still have alot of control over certain systems depending on your faction's tag. Such as Bs| who uses Order tag and ID have a substantial amount of ownership in Omicron Minor, and can pass laws and govern that system. Same for RM with all the Rheinland systems. The RM might only be able to own the RM Guard system, but since they are tagged and IDd RM faction, they can operate as the official Rheinland Military in Rheinland. Same goes for SF with Bretonia and KNF for Kusari.
Yes we have had a problem lately with people not wanting to leave and continually attacking after they have died 3 times...Dab had to even go on Universe chat it got so bad.
I have a question concerning getting killed outside of the ID limitations, for example getting blasted by a neutral cap ship when dogfighting two hostile fighters. The rules themselves don't mention it but the faction ID's have cap ship vs. fighter restrictions. Are these ID restrictions valid?
Since this thread has already been made I'll post this here.
I'm constantly being harrassed by this one person who seems to be reading different rules to the ones I'm reading. Can someone point me to the place in the server rules where its states that I have to leave the system or obey the demands of the person who kills me 3 times? Or the place where is says that I have to wait 24 hours before I can engage him again.
I have argued with him/her twice now and I'm getting sick of it. If I'm wrong I'm not bothered I just want to know where in the rules it says this. As far as I can see, PVP RP rules 7.11 is the only part of the rules relavent to this, and everytime I read it I get the impression that its per battle that the 3 kill rule applies, not per day. And It mentions nothing about demands or leaving the system (especially when he/she's the one in hostile territory).
Could an admin please sort this out. I have screenies of the latest arguement if you need them.
