So lately I have been flying around my Blood Dragon character a lot causing some trouble here and there, maybe a fun an interesting RP once in a while. But one thing I am noticing by and large is that it really lacks the punch when it comes to a fight.
My current loadout is as follows
2x Daito
2x Imp. Defibs I
*1x SuperNova Antimatter Cannon
*1x Train CD
*1x Nuke Mine
Doesn't really hit hulls hard unless I land the SNAC but it peels away shields at a decent rate, but it doesn't do well if I am trying to down a fighter or something with maneuverability, SO I tried out this one

2x Disinfector 3

Well okay a bit better, the disinfectors are slow and miss a lot but do damage when they hit. The final idea i tried was....

I can put on a pair of Jades or Ragnaroks if I wanna go through the trouble of doing so and if its actually effective.
To be honest, with bombers, I go 4 Imp Deb and SN/TCD/Nuke mine. If I get attacked by a fighter, it sucks, but it's meant to suck. But its purpose is to take down capital ships or transports, and to sacrifice those capabilities for anti-fighter equipment is silly if you ask me. You pretty much won't destroy a decent fighter pilot in a bomber unless you compromise your <strike>SNAC</strike> anti-cap abilities.

i must say its wrong.. a bomber should have something to get shields down.. the SNAC is your friend.. You need to get to the hull as fast as you can to land that SNAC and be done with it
Well, I dislike the quad debs. I love my nadochi, and so yeah.
Im using disinfectors and debs (disinfectors? whatetever is the one with 4.00 refire, I get the mixed up), a snac, tcd, nuke mines and enh countermeasure.
I'll probably change it soon though, when I get my Umibozu.
Your first loadout was fine, you'll probably rely on the SNAC (and friends) to keep the shields down on large caps anyways. Myself I always use at least a pair (usually more) of faction guns on every single one of my ships even bombers and I do just fine. If attacked by Fighters and other bombers you can learn to joust, it takes some serious practice to hit fighters with the SNAC. If you have difficulties with that you have those Nuke mines and CDs, very very handy combonation when you know how to engine kill. Dropping mine and CD'ng them when they are close to your enemy is effective.
Yeah I had a run in with someone flying a Corsair bomber today, the mines really saved me, while I wait for the SNAC to come back and fire. Is it worth putting Codies on it at all? or should I forget it
Well on my GMG Bomber I've used 2 Skyblast Bs and 2 Golden Blades and they do just fine. Keep in mind that you are pretty much making yourself less effective by using CODES. I use CODES for the sole reason that it's a colour thing. I like the pixels and my bomber shooting can be easily differentiated from my wingmated bombers whom are firing. Class 10's, to me, is just a personal touch. BHG Bomber used 3 Bucks and 2 Cerberus's, BHG Manta uses 4 Bucks and 2 Blue Blazes, NLH Roc uses 2 Gaian Angels and 2 Colas. All have used the same loadout for over a year. If you are looking for PvP advantages don't bother, if you are into adding in game char to your RP char than sure why not.
