Replacing pirate bombers with ships with stats similar to the Recycler and Mjolnir will result in amazing amounts of tears.

Maybe we're not only considering what would be best for our PvP? Light bombers are obviously better, but we don't have a light bomber, we have a middle bomber that isn't even a very good middle bomber. We want it to go the whole way to superheavy (Barghest) bomber. The number of capital ships fought in Bretonia has nothing to do with it.

And your belief that you're the only capital ship to ever attack Bretonia is laughably inaccurate.

No, youre not the only one. There are some Corsair lolcapwhores who pay us a visit occasionally, and also dont forget QCP. It will be useful against transports aswell.

For gunboats, we have Templar swarms in reserve.

The Challenger sure could use some improvements. I like Blunts idea, since, in my experience in Bretonia, the only pirates i come across are in funboats of a high calibre or very low level starters. I realise that in Liberty the Barghest is a popular choice.

Sure, i'l admit i thought nerfing bombers wasn't the answer but you've convinced me. Bombers should be turned into something more like bombers, a bit tougher and not so agile. The Challenger is a perfect place to start with this concept. The Bretonians (as i see) are the big beefy tough types that lack agility but max out in armor, armor and more armor.

Bombers should be bigs, toughs and agile as a brick. All of them. I approve the "bargification" of the Challenger. And others, could be good too.
