currently it's has the setup: 9-8-7-7-8-9
Can it be upgraded to : 10-9-9-9-9-10
It has about the same power core as the Eagle, so why can't it have a similar load-out. All the rest of it's stat's are fine; However almost every other ship with that size power core has at least 2 (if not 4) class 10 slots. shouldn't it be brought up to par with the rest of the fighters of it's class?
It needs a re-skin anyway since it's an import, so why can't it have the weapon upgrade too at the same time?
9-9-8-8-9-9, would be ok, currently the only thing you can mount at the 7 class slots are debilitators.
Ive flowen one with skyblasts some time ago, and even mid npc were difficult, and that OPG guy did not want to fight, but gave me a million with the advice to buy another ship ^^
The Switchblade is listed as a "heavy fighter"
The Hammerhead is listed as a "very heavy fighter"
They are nearly identical in stat's (the hammerhead has more cargo space)
I disagree that just because it's only labeled a "heavy fighter" it cant be armed similarly.
There are HFs that have class 10's, and VHFs that only have 9'.
Take the "Virage" VHF for example, It has 4 class 10s and 2 class 9s. It has the same Power core as the Marauder, only has 700 more armor, 10 more cargo space, and 10 more bots/bats. what makes it worthy of it's load out, and the Marauder not? . . .the infocard stating The Marauder is only a "heavy fighter"?
I'm not asking that it to become another Bastet with 6 class 10's (order VHF), or another Eagle with 4 10's and 2 9's, I'm asking for a lesser load-out than those two. (despite the Marauder having a slightly bigger power core than the both of them) If not, At least give it something more than what it currently is, If it gets 4 class 9s and 2 class 8s as suggested . . .so be it, it would be better than it is now and I won't complain about it not getting more.

You spelled Reynolds wrong.
As far as the quoted text... compare agility. The marauder is a -much- quicker turn rate (at least in my experience flying it) than the virage does. The virage is a flying brick.
There's more to take into account than power core or cargo space when balancing ships.
Meh, i like my marauder. Not everything needs Imp Debs, everyone flying around with em is getting ooold. Haven't had a chance to fight in it yet though, i'd imagine it would suck. I'd say it's more RP that PvP.
Ooh, let me chime in. It isn't about a 'label', it's what the ships are meant to be. Some of those labels were wrong in the history and I'd bet some still are. 4xlvl9 + 2xlvl8 would be fine, I guess.
Be glad that it has a good power core for a HF, don't try to change it into a VHF. More things would have to change, not only weapon slots. For example that agility would suddenly look too good...
The only change I would ask for is that its class 7 and class 9 gun hardpoints be swapped around. Right now, its lvl7's are right next to the cockpit while the lvl9's are way out on the wingtips, making the firing arcs on those things pretty terrible, considering the ship is a big wide plate. It would be nice to have those lvl9's near the center of the ship so you could actually hit something with them.
Other than that, Rudo hit it on the head - the marauder's a nightmare for slow fighters and bombers. It doesn't really need any more improving.
