I just logged back into my bomber for the first time since the update, and the new weapons are still a mystery to me.
What is your experience with them? For my Sentinel I'm just going to slap on the hull-beakers and a Nova and a Supernova until I find a Mini Razor. Is the Mini still around?
I know the new weapons have been out a bit, but never used, and strangely seen them in action. Been awhile since I've been in a PvP.
firstly - bombers cannot mount the minirazor or the inferno anymore - they are fighter weapons....
secondly - bombers can choose hullbreakers and emp guns / turrets - depending on what they are meant to do. - both guns are meant to hit targets larger and slower than fighters and therefore have a slow projectile speed and a longer range.
Aww, I'll miss the Mini Razor. I liked RP'ing a Light Bomber. Guess I'll RP a militarised version due to rising tensions and large number of capitals of late.
Frankly, they're wonderful. I've got shieldbusters on most of my bombers, and despite supposedly being useless against fighters, I do decently with them. (Decently meaning downing over 20 fighters in a Barghest)
SNAC + TCD is the wave of the future, in my opinion.

I find they are interesting.
They do damage simlar to the 2.00 refire Codes but fire at with refire rat of 4.00 and move much much slower.
Makes them less usable against fighters and more effective against larger ships. I should mention that I find that they allow me to punish any fighter foolish to joust me much more efficiently but if your trying to shoot a fighter your tailing you'll chew up your powercore. Oh yeah, the bomber weapons can drain your powerplant so be efficient with them to ensure the use of your SNAC.
It makes me lol that this change was put in at all. It makes the bombers more specialized, sure, but the guns werent what was causing problems between bombers and fighters - and a half decent bomber pilot can still take on fighter pilots 1 on 1 - hell, i've seen a few bomber pilots take on 2-3 fighters at a time and still win.
Bombers with the new guns are even deadlier in small battles against fighters than they were with normal fighter guns - joust a bomber now and you're toast, no way out of it. Sure, some of the better fighter pilots have learned how to avoid jousting and are doing ok, but nothing has really changed between fighters and bombers here, and fighters are no better equipped to deal with bombers than they were before.

Depends on the bomber pilot's aim, really. I couldn't aim a MR in a bomber to save my life, but I can snipe people with a SNAC pretty handily.
