So, as a BMM miner we get a bonus to this & it can be mined within Bretonian space - however I'm damned if I can find anyone who wants to buy the ore for more than it's base value anywhere between Colorado, Dublin and Munich - the ZoI that a BMM pilot could reasonably be taking goods. Have I just missed it?
I haven't tested or looked into BMM much as my BMM, but I did find that Gold sells to Detroit munitions (horribly bad place to take it tbh) and Berylium sells to The Ring (the cambridge field NW of the planet is where the ore is abundant), Niobium from Stokes sells to Kensington though I don't know if that field is even on.
Currently I'd say the best bet is Berylium, as detroit isnt likely very fun, if niobium works well in Stokes however, Kensington would be the best (though for Bowex traders it might be a bit iffy).
...and to clarify, we are of course talking about unprocessed Beryllium Ore - not the commodity Beryllium that you see in the not-quite-a-cheat tool or similar.
To further clarify, I have now landed on every base (within RP) that lands within the space claimed by Bretonia, contested or otherwise. It appears the Bretonian nation has no use for one of the minerals it mines at all, and that the only purpose for mining it is to sell to the sausage munchers?
I can understand making a much greater profit, but for a faction that bases a large part of it's economy on mining and manufacturing it seems nuts that there's not a less profitable but closer dock to sell your ores. We're not talking mega money here, just something a little more palatable than a full hold on a mining ship - which takes a fair while - netting less than 300k. In the same time that same mining ship could've been to Rheinland/Liberty and back - again completely within RP - at least once if not twice and made nearly 50 times that amount.
Surely this is an oversight? Hopefully one on my part?

Isn't that obvious?
After all, if something is abundant within a house, prices of that item are bound to be low - there is probably an oversupply of it.
No, not really. Especially given that Beryllium itself can be bought and sold for different prices at different ends of bretonia.
Of course more profit would be earned by moving the commodity to a further destination - that makes perfect sense - but not being able to sell it anywhere within the local vicinity for even a reasonable price makes no sense at all.
Couple that with the fact that Libertonian's can mine Copper in Colorado and ship it to Texas to sell for 8k, and I'm feeling a little hard done by...
