Regarding the cruise changes

It's bad for BS's because they must recarge energy long time.

For example you going in mission 30 k and activing cruise. Stop and change energy 1 minute? Hah, very busy for me.

Fighters/Bombers will do it more fast but really if you fly for exemple and enemy will TCD you, you will die because he have energy and you haven't.

I think will be good to have energy again when flying.

Since the new update is only about 48 hours old, you haven't played enough to be as certain as you pretend.

Caps cruising after smaller ships has always been a problem. Sanctions are the best way to deal with this. You should have known the unpaid hours of work you're going to be doing to have that shiny Administrator title placed in your profile. Another option than just dealing with it could be number eight, which is what Jihad Joe said in a few topics. Banning specific people from using capships because they cannot handle it. That would be shown by sanction reports. As for shield running, I hardly ever see that happen anymore.

My experience? I doubt it helps cruisers in anyway. Their issue is in the lack of the role they have. Tenacity's battlecruiser was severely nerfed from this, as was my Zoner Juggernaut. Large Battleships are basically floating lumps even moreso than beforehand. Now they are not only huge targets, They cant EK into battle and do what they do best. Pwning smaller battleships/capships up close. Not to mention the low recharge rate the BS powerplants already have, but this exasorbates it. Missions are now far more annoying as you have to spend 5 minutes going up in pulse speed to recharge and be effective in battle.

This is doing nothing to make disco better. This is only creating massive resistance becuase its a HUGE ABRUPT tactics change ALL at once. People dislike change. I do. Tenacity Does. So do many others. Especially abrupt major unneeded change. Fixing things that aren't broken.

It COMPLETELY destroys all previous tactics of EVERY class. Thats very major, don't you think? Something that would be taken more gradually?

Cannon has done much right. But this takes the cake as the worst discovery change ever to happen.
So much so, It overloaded all his other achievements.
For every person that replaces me, 1 out of 1 is a lolwutter.

Cam, if you dont like it leave and stop getting in the way of actual feedback that is not "You took away my ability to fly up to smaller ships and take them out in about a second and a half." Also, as you say you would be replaced by a lolwuter? I would say you have, for your entire time here, been a lolwuter, so it seems to be a even trade to me. At first I thought this would just remain calm, collected, and people would actually give it a chance before going all googly moogly and making inflammatory comments.

I forgot that certain members of this community have the emotional levels of 2 year old spoiled brats.

Yeah, I'm calling it like I see it. I'll be 48 years old in December, I play this game for fun, and I help moderate things on here because, quite frankly, this game is too much fun and this mod is the best one around. You guys want to rant, rave, and threaten to quit? Bye, now, and don't let the electronic door hit you in the butt on the way out. You want to calm the hell down and start making sense of things, instead? Then do so.

In the meantime, the community continues, and it is STILL growing - with or without you. How do I know that? One of my self-appointed jobs is to go through the forum applications every day and try to weed out the spambots. (It's someone else's job to delete them, which is why occassionaly one of them sneaks in.) In any event - it's a rare day that there aren't 20 or MORE new forum applications. Even knocking off half of them as spambots - this community is STILL growing, and will continue to do so as long as the technology lets us play this game.

So for now - this complaining is over. There are forum suspensions to process - yes, some of you have gone overboard and are suspended. You can't play nicely? Then you're not playing for a while. In the meantime - this thread is now terminated.
