Despite your grammar, I would have to wholeheartedly agree with your point.
More than four hours of work can go down the drain in forty seconds. It's simply cruel.
Unless the people mining are very OoRP or deserve to cry.

We would have worked out some deal, but he wanted all the ore. I'm not keen on handing over 2k gold to someone who can't carry it.
That's where i draw the line of roleplay. If mollies want their gold they should make it a contraband for everyone than them, so then they could destroy it in space.
i dont support destroying things in space if there's no reason for it.
blowing up someones organs because you cant hold more is petty.
blowing up someones blood diamonds isnt' at all
blowing up military vehicles is necesary in rp
What the hell was Kishiro doing mining Gold in Dublin?
*chuckles*
What's wrong with you? Have you even read the mining guide?
Get off that high horse and get some facts straight.
Also, work in teams or simply learn to live with the fact that someone can steal your ore. If he can carry it, he can take it.
By having such expensive cargo, you agree to the risks involved.
amazing mining guide Wrote:Kishiro Technologies, the primary supplier of specialized equipment and cutting edge craft such as the Kusari Destroye for the Kusari Naval Forces, was well placed within the government to lay claims to the natural resources of Bretonia upon the conquest of the same. With the promises of the native resources of Bretonia as a bargaining chip Kishiro produced much of the materials required for the war effort at little to no cost, a gamble which has paid off.
With a foothold in Leeds established Kishiro has begun initial raids into the resource fields of Dublin and Leeds from their front line of Stokes. A gamble in itself due to the heavy military presence in both regions and the ire of the local pirate forces but one which is returning the company's initial investments ten fold.

Just because Dusty says it, that doesn't make it in roleplay. All right, maybe it is technically within roleplay, but I don't pretend to think that I don't have better grasp of Dublin and Bretonia's roleplay than most people.
The Dublin hole and gate are still on the Bretonian end of Leeds. And corporation sneaking down through a warzone into an enemy controlled system to mine doesn't seem like a gambit worth the risks. Plus, the Mollies hate Kusari just as much as the rest of Bretonia. That's a pratically suicidal gambit you're taking. And no, the IMG aren't going to help you out. Bretonia would squash them instantly if they aided or abated the enemy. It would be as suicidal for them to help you as it would be for you to go into Dublin to mine.
Take it to Dusty, I can see it happening, it means Bretonia is losing a war. I wouldn't mind if they revoke Kishiro's and Samura's mining, but "just because admin writes a guide doesn't make it true" does not translate to "sorry for calling you a hypocrite" in my language

I'm not going to bother him with something so trivial. He has more important things to be doing, as evidenced by his recent droppage of avatar and custom title.
Also, your reasoning as to why you can see it happening appears to be a little bit circular.
"Just because an admin writes a guide doesn't make it true" also doesn't translate to "Sorry for calling you a hypocrite" in my language as well. I meant nothing of the sort - I'm not sorry. You see, roleplay sometimes transcends rules and whatnot, as evidenced by people like KNF pirating Bretonians. That's exceedingly sketchy behaviour within rules, but logical within roleplay - whereas Kishiro mining deep within enemy territory isn't necessarily logical within roleplay, though allowed by ID.
back on topic, i think it's unreasonable to ask for 20mil from a ship carrying ore, but i dont think it's unreasonable to take a 3rd of their cargo.
seems a bit messed up, but i think piracy tax's should stay similar to they are, at least if you pirate cargo you have to do a bit of work to get money back from it.
So basically I'm a hypocrite for roleplaying within my ID's restrictions?
Then I'll rather take that as a compliment.
Difference between taking third of cargo and pirating for 20millions is that pirate has nowhere to drop off the cargo unless he cooperates with someone. Someone who will take a cutt for transporting the ore.

You're the one who used the term hypocrite in the first place.
Apply it to yourself if you deem it fitting...... which it appears that you do.
I also noticed that in your original post you mentioned that my friend Vjeko couldn't destroy your Miner before it docked. I'm wondering where you docked, as it seems obvious that there is nowhere for you to dock in Dublin. I'm going to guess that you were landing at the Hood. That, of course, would most certainly be a horrid case of being OoRP, as mentioned in a previous post of mine. For that, perhaps, I might apply the self-ascribed label of "hypocrite" to you.
' Wrote:1/3 of the cargo IS 20 Million. asking for that, is the same .
pretty much what ivan said, and you can always fill up with more cargo enroute, make another couple of mill from robotic components or something, it's hard to reclaim lost credits.
plus, with cargo piracy, you have to option of getting it back, hiring a merc or some much.
i'm probably an idiot, but cargo piracy seems more reasonable to me then 20milordai.
Edit: also, i didnt think IMG was too keen on BMM? i know that doesnt mean enemies enemy is my friend or whatever, but they mightn't mind some of BMM's trade being stollen
